I Need Help!
My only question is my brakes are too tight after I replaced the caliper and padsi don't know how to fix it
Yeah seen another video man say check spark plug an gas want to pay to get mine right my first ride I brought
Gotta move those gas tanks.
I have this same engine. Struggling to find the model number so I can buy parts for it. You have any recommendations?
In early 1956 I saw the of these (1952 4-door green Champion), with 17,000 really miles at the local Chevy dealer. I rushed home & told my dad. I needed a car for college in the fall. Dad bought it for $600. Loved that car.
How do I adjust the idle? I have the same engine but different carburetor. 3 HP Briggs and Stratton engine
I'm not sure what carburetor you have, but look where your throttle cable is connected. There should be a screw with a spring on it for adjusting the idle. A little goes a LONG way.
I wanted make an intake manifold out of steel for a 110cc pitbike engine to shorten its total height. will the carb still work if its lower then the manifold?
Damn.... I wonder what it's like to have so much money? Frickin' nice neighborhood, nice homes, can't imagine the price to live there!
Must be you have one intake feeding two cylinders, huh? Wait a minute, that's a 6 cylinder! So each intake feeds two cylinders? That's pretty cool, man.
Make it faster
Man look at that monkey back brake setup. Just like in the 1960s when everything was much simpler.😅
Well folks is is showing you something about the subject. He’s showing you what not to do. Now let find the correct way to go about this🙃
You may of had a good idea but you failed to deliver. Next time cut the bullshit and get right to doing what you set out to do 😮
This idea verry nice and i verry useful this idea is very
I put the engine from my 1976 honda cb550 on my childhood go cart frame, it was fairly easy cause the transmission is built inside of it so I got the linkages done and fired it up and me and my friend were on it and a cop got behind us so I acted like I was gonna run to scare my friend and when I stopped the cop was pissed, he walked me back to his car and showed me the radar and it was locked on 118 mph. Lol. I only had it about 3/4 opened up and had one more gear to go, i would love to take it somewhere and see what the top speed is
I've got one on my mini bike. Cant get it to start
Awesome bike.❤❤
What did it not just been cheaper to buy an industrial chain
Guess who just scored a kart and has a 650cc Ninja 2 cylinder fuel injected 70 horsepower motor fixing to get crazy
THANKS
It is possible and perhaps better to leave the condenser and the condenser point bracket on the engine and just run a points file between them to clean them and restore the spark. You want the two points perfectly flat in relation to each other, with no rounded-off corners, so leaving them on the engine insures that they are oriented as well as possible. Kudos to you for doing points ignition maintenance and not just replacing them with a new Magnetron coil as many are wont to do.
3:16 Do NOT hammer on the two "bosses" as that is a good way to shear them right off. The starter clutch housing is made of soft aluminum. If you prefer doing it that way, be gentle. The large channel-lock pliers DO WORK, make sure to adjust them so the jaw opening is large enough and the plier handles are closer together than you had yours, to give yourself a fighting chance at removing the flywheel nut. Padding the plier jaws with tape is also highly recommended and will keep the engine looking pristine and NOT like a monkey worked on it. Also recommend to put put the plier jaws against one of the bosses for more leverage. Briggs & Stratton No.19244 Starter Clutch Wrench is the proper tool, not too costly and Briggs also makes a Flywheel Holder No.19167 (but I think the prybar is fine as long as you're not an 800lbs gorilla with it). These tools might be worth it and will "pay for themselves" if you work on a lot of these engines.
Hory shet, 0:00 massive closeup of the dude's face. Nobody wants to see that, bro, only the minibike!
What is the name of the rod which is connected between the staring wheels
Can we see a test run? Or is it long gone.
hay que ser muy imbécil para abrir un paquete con una amoladora.
No offense but don’t that make the valves float?
Lol maybe? Rpm’s weren’t super high. More likely burn valves with no exhaust like that
But yours good
Yeah man need mine started man claim he was going to get it right for me don't believe every thing some one tell you
Glad to see you are still alive. I remember your vids from 8-9 years ago.
Thanks, hoping to start actually recording stuff more. I wanted to film the process of this swap but I need to cut my grass bad!
That would of made a great video!
I have a IH Lawn Tractor with Kohler Engine which I use occasionally. My nephew also has one in mint condition which he obtained through his grandpa. These old IH lawn tractors were really miniature tractors with real transmissions. Unlike todays lawn mower made of press steel decks with cheap spindles, pulleys, transmissions and plastic hoods. You should run that at county fairs were they have miniature lawn tractors racing and pulling miniature weight selds. Hats Off To You On Your Engineer Marvel. Sincerely Mr. T.
Thank you for the kind words! Will be on display at the steam and gas show in Brownsville pa later this summer!
I have message you om Instagram hope to hear from you soon💪🏻
Where did you get your rear sprocket so it fits a go kart axle ?
Why don’t you just use a chain breaker to remove the chain links instead of a frickin angle grinder, lol. Surprised you were able to make all that without any appropriate tools or relevant mechanical knowledge
So you seem to be based near Pennsylvania?
Brutal
I would be sliding out of September and into February with that thing.
Nice work bro,
Sounds great homie
This just gave me an amazing idea and I’m gonna save this video for when I’m home…. Definitely subbin it up
Dough brains do donuts
What are your plans for this truck.
The 259 in the truck will be used to repower another truck, I have super duty axles and and hopefully a Cummins engine to swap in
@@bignickthegreat I hope you video all of these projects for us.
That’s the plan!
Just watched your latest video and I’m glad to see you back on youtube! Just a heads up, don’t set the video to “for kids” as it disables comments and makes your videos harder to find. Its a confusing feature but If your video is suitable for children it’ll be fine and you should only label it as “for kids” if theyre the target demographic. Looking forward to your next upload.
Thanks! As you can see, I’m a little rusty with CZcams lol. Planning to do a 4X4 swap on this truck and if I can find a good deal it will get a diesel swap too
What kind of torque converters did you use?
eBay cheapos
Do you know where I could find the coil or carburetor?
eBay
Get the camara out of your face
Great looking and sounding old Studebaker… It looks like you’re smoking a little bit is it running rich? Or is it using a little oil….???
Piston rings totally shot lol
Good work. Looks the business 👍
