I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *amzrepe* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

About nine months ago I purchased about a hundred pounds of costume jewelry and it still has little treasures in it. I'm going to make Christmas reef's with a bunch of the stuff that is left over but still beautiful. I enjoy your channel. I found a jewelry jar for $8 at a thrift store. The store owner warned me there were a lot of single earrings and some broken bits. I was okay with that and told her I appreciated her honesty. I wanted to try my hand at converting clip earrings to post, so it was a perfect jar for me. There were some highlights: Brighton bracelet and earrings (a pair, not just one!), and some SS and some 14k for scrap. Thank you for your inspiration. Have a great day!

Hi Thelma! I have never found a jewelry jar in the wild! I have quite a few made up that I’m going to post for sale because I’m literally drowning in jewelry. I opened a blue box a few months ago that was full of those large plastic kids necklaces….every kind you could think of…some competed and some not competed. lol I can laugh about now but I wasn’t a happy camper when I opened it. So every time I see someone pull one of those out of their Jewelry Jar remember that box. It was bad! My worst box.

As an "exceptional parent" of a unique daughter I would have been so excited to have you as her teacher!
