Cool, my G Grandparents and my GG Grandparents are buried in Luskville. Grandad was from Eardley, specifically off the Eardley/Masham Rd near Ramsay Lake.

Fantastic video! Love the winter footage. I take it in Gatineau Park itself you can't fly the drone - despite it being less than 250g? Or are you allowed to fly <250g within the park but not just publish the footage on CZcams/social media etc? I also believe Gatineau Park is not considered a National Park (ie it isn't maintained by Parks Canada), however it does fall under the NCC (National Capital Commission) space Cheers!

wonderful, i'm about to do my first solo travel for a business trip in few days. i've been dreaming of this solo experience for a long time, but am i too old to try staying in a hostel now that i'm 40 years old (still in good shape though)? is it only for young loud students or will i enjoy the experience at my (more mature years)?

Well covered! My family was here in peak covid period of early September 2020. We were on our motorized RV and camped inside the park. Many attractions were closed. But we really enjoyed hiking and photography.

This was nice but it was mostly Gatineau. There are plenty of hiking trails in the city of Ottawa...

National park passes will get you and 2 guest into the Maui's national park - free.
