GREAT VIDEO ! SUNDAY 6/16/24 JUNE 16, 2024
Brando was such a great technician, he had to read his lines off large Q cards.
Who did the intro scenes it looks like the work of Sergio Leone !! Or maybe ennio corleone..always get the too confused..
the cut scene he talks about where he saves a baby is in the 40th anniversary bluray "finale cut"
I just watched that version, Redux recently and loved that scene! It really is my fav war movie ever created. Close in second place is Full Metal Jacket. The Industrial Military's Complex has become much crazier, since the Vietnam situation. Coppola and Kubrick really did their part in showing us something.
A true great man and actor..For me started with Maverick..And ending for me performing for Mr. Garner at the Palomino Club in California..I was up next and saw that his long table were of folks he brought with him and they were leaving..Yeah it was Talent Night..I walked up to Mr Garner and told him i would love it if he could hear one of my songs..Playing with the house band that were my friends..He said when are you on..I said I'm up next..He looked at me with his big black cowboy hat smiled and said CERTAINLY..He called over to someone at the door and said tell them all to come back in..They did and there were 20 sitting in his row ..AMAZING..I did my song and Mr. Garner came over as his friends were leaving..Shook my hand and said great job.... The song was..Just Making A List on my YT page..Love ya Mr. Garner..My friend Jim
He said "If you take my picture again, I'm gonna kill you." And he meant it.
Feck has the best weed
"They would do crazy things in the Air Cavalry." Fuckin' A right.

COOL INTERVIEW ! THURSDAY 5/23/24 MAY 23, 2024
His performance eclipsed Brando's by miles.
Leo Gordon was one tough hombre in real life. Garner used him in at least one episode of Rockford Files, as an “aging hired muscle” type guy. I never knew their connection, and mutual respect, until now.
Welles un génie du cinéma et du théâtre trahi par les producteurs américains !!
Man, I Love This Amazing Actor ❤
Im from the west coast of Scotland, and he reminds me so much of the old gaelic speaking hands
What an honest answer. An actor saying that money is a factor as well as anything
“Did you know that “if” is the middle word in “life”….”
it would`ve been more than great to have Clemenza in Godfather 2 and Tom Hagen in Godfather 3
Im sorry but Dave was always such a fuckin asshole as an interviewer
Love this man! I was fortunate enough to find a signed photo of him and I am so proud to own something he signed! RIP Legend! He, Farley and River were my favs of the 90s! Jim Carrey too
Dennis Hopper Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
God Almighty. Was this really 34 years ago? Seem like just a couple of months.
"It pops better; it's lighter."
He was so right, the third movie was a non sense..Godfather 1/2, were pure class.
I was wrestling with some demons 😏
The illusive man
Kilgore was one of the great characters in film history, and Bobby Duvall played him to a tee. One of the greatest actors of our time. Just watch “Tender Mercies.” Five star acting. 🎬❤️🎬
Clift and Brando: great choices for greatest film actors, but you’re right up there Dennis. You were great in Apocalypse Now, Speed, Easy Rider, and so many more. Thanks for the memories. 🎬❤️🎬
Totally agree with Duvall. Godfather Part III was awful by comparison. While Sofia Copella turned out to be a fantastic Director, she was appalling in Godfather (I real somewhere that Winona Rider was considered for that role). I also hated the repeat of Godfather Part II when they "settled all accounts" at the end. It was really poor writing. I heard somewhere that a Part IV was being considered where Vincenzo basically destroys the Corleone family. Now that would be interesting to watch. However, I'd love it to be a flash-back movie like Godfather Part II where the first half is the time in Sicily and then the second half where Vincenzo screws everything up.
Duvall was at his very best in westerns
I think it was atrocious to treat Duvall like a second-hand actor. He won an Oscar in 1983 and was in Apocalypse Now. He deserved equal pay to Pacino. Anyway, it was their loss. The film was subpar due to Sofia, Hamilton and no Duvall.
He made a good choice. The movie stunk.
In hind sight they should have killed off fredo because jame cann , al , deniro , duvall taiilia shire you could make a Disney movie interesting . What a frightening cast those movies will stand forever.
Reminds me of the last cowboy. That was me buddy
jim was the best of the best.
Yes, as good.
The originals were the best.
Right. It was like...it's been done. Less kept him more interesting.
Doll house twilight zone. To kill. A mocking bird.
Don't make em like this anymore 😢
