Nothing makes for bigotry like forced wokebullness. It’s absolutely clever and good to its core. Still the stupidest shit to me to have to listen to when I’m hungry and forced up right after 36 hours of no sleep, beforehand. It is jarring constant focusing around the place visually, randomly beat-nick as if the sixties were still kicking, and yea kind of confusing at first for those who aren’t born woke, and instead need it beaten into them everyday with this speak and repeat mentality. Im not sure poetry is going to cure the hearts of bigots. Cmon old hip try hards. Make something that makes more sense in my opinion. This has a ridiculously niche audience that find this actually appealing.

They spent more time with this briefing and basic training and AIT than anything else. I don't know how to fire a weapon but I know that if I tell a woman her ocp pants are too tight and therefore out of regulation I will be kicked out for sexual harassment in today's army.thanks. I believe I actually saw this guy in San Antonio fort Sam. Stuff like this is the reason why people may not want to enlist. I haven't harassed or raped anyone but I'm forced to go through these briefings constantly. Not to mention the briefing about how I should accept showering with a man who has a vulva. Please please stop this wokeness. I haven't known anyone to be sexually assaulted with my time in the army. You need to go after the people who actually are doing the evil things. I don't think this helps things it just makes people like me more angry that you're wasting our time when you could be training us for something that's actually important.

Hold up. People actually LIKED this? Why are these comments so positive? Before we watched this video there was a disclaimer our trainer had to say that insinuated that this wasn't racist. And everyone was confused until they saw a black man, rapping, about how he was the face of sexual assault...

Chief, Saw this for the first time this past summer and it was the most inspirational SHARP brief intro I’ve ever experience (been on active duty since 2009… do the math). I had a SHARP brief today and recommended this video be played and was told by the SARC that it can’t be played because a black woman said it makes the black man appear as the primary perpetrator. I couldn’t believe it’s come to this. The Army has an amazing product that is performed at an award winning level but can’t be used in order to make a difference because of the skin color shown. So In order to get such a powerful message across the ranks we have to use a white man to deliver the poem? Wtf has this world and Army come to?

How about worrying about your victims to the extent that you do about the morale, output and product of your unit that is tarnished because of the Demons you let in as well as victims just like ME...... Brent.
