    I would love to learn more about how to setup a manure composting container like that. We have lots of horse manure that I'd like to compost down faster to keep up with it. Our state only allows 500 sqft of composting space per the EPA so if you are able to compost manure down to compost in 4 weeks with that setup (4 bins) that would work perfectly for our operation. How can I learn more about how the forced air setup works? Great video by the way, thank you for sharing your process!

    Hi Steve, I just found your channel. What a find! I'm a Gardener for 50+ years and raising worms since 2009. My husband and I have been married for almost 50 years and take turns in the kitchen. He's more gourmet and even worked as a cook at a couple restaurants at Disney World. I'm more simple, but delicious. I started my channel a couple years ago and find it a good daily stimulation during covid and retirement 👍 I watched your visit to the worm farm and found it fascinating. California could certainly use more effort with your lack of rains. Take care and good luck with your channel 👩‍🌾👍

    I have been researching how to compost for a little while and am curious about how healthy the compost can be even when using manure from animals that have been treated with medications...I imagine most horses and the dairy cattle whose manure is used for this place in particular, would have some traces of these medications in them so I guess I am wondering if this can cause any damage to the compost or if it does not impact it at all?

I can't live off over priced / withered fruit and vegetables with very little nutrients left in them I love your story of how it all started... The universe had you right where you were needed.. isnt that amazing how things in life unfold ..

    Question, those large composters for the manure are they just huge bins with carbon and nitrogen inputs that make them heat up or is the manure heated by electric means?

    • @anibaldamiao
      @anibaldamiao Před rokem

      Only nature, no need to add anything. Blowing air or mixing accelerates the heating as microbes start eating/replicating more
