Shield Arms S15 Gen2 Issues and Resolution with my Glock 43X (Left Handed Shooter)
zhlédnutí 23KPřed 2 lety
I was happy that Shield Arms finally released a left handed version of their S15 MAGAZINE. Unfortunately it did not work for me out of the box. I wasn't willing to settle for inferior performance to the stock setup. After some frustration and great customer service by Shield Arms I was able to get this setup to work reliably that I'd be willing to use it as my EDC. I had to upgrade to the premi...
Agency Arms Drop-In Trigger First Impressions on my Glock 43X
zhlédnutí 15KPřed 2 lety
I finally upgraded the trigger on my Glock 43X with an Agency Arms drop-in trigger. I go over the pull weight before and after and a little bit on the initial feel after only 100 rounds. I'm just a normal guy that likes to pew pew.
So sad cant ship to Philippines
You have the plunger rod for your injection backwards
Any updates??
How has this held up? Mines doing great 👍 I have a cyborg and the 2x post scope magnifier
I bought the same setup, I suggest using thick millimeter neoprene rubber gloves for the protection for the lenses on the magnifier. Cut the fingers and thumb. Or condoms. Lol
Doooooouche
How is the slide catch being a lefty? I have been looking at the same one and it looks like it would be perfect with catching the slide with trigger finger.
Save your ammunition, thread lock, read directions. Its really a great combination!!
You- “not gonna read this, I’m sure I can figure it out”. Also you- “I don’t know what these turrets on the magnifier are for”.
I’m a lefty as well and in recently installed that shield arms 15rd mag and with the metal mag release but every time i got to put one in the head the slide gets stuck
I have a sheild arms magwell on my 43x but on my 48mos i put a katana v2 its supper sick .
Read the manuals and "watch" CZcams to learn from others who are experts.
My safety tab is like on my frame and hits when I pull trigger. Anybody else? G43x
There's no "auto off" or "shake awake" on the Red Dot optic, so you have to turn it to "0" when you're not using it, or the battery will die because it's always on. 👍
Great job having your weapon on fire with the magazine in. Regardless of if your magazine is loaded or not, it's a horrible habit.
its on sale black friday deal $109
I got a apex and apex has definitely more travle but i love my apex in my 19 lets your finger stretch i also like overwatch to i have 3 apex triggers 1 overwatch and 1 angancy .
Nice setup!
Where did u get the magazine from ?
Palmetto State Armory Micro Dagger is a 43X Clone takes PSA Magazines 15+1 standard. Check them out they sellout quick so be on your feet quick #dressed2kill Righteously
You definitely #dressed2kill my guy sheesh. I'm locked in with you! 🥂🗡🗡👑💣💣💣💣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀
nice build. i got the same sight set up.
I put a Johnny Glocks trigger in my 48 with 4lb sticker spring with reduced safety plunger spring and trigger is 3.5lbs glass break. Great review.
Oh wow so the magwell can add to reliability with the s15 mags
The dude at the range that got hot brass in his shirt
Unfortunately, I don't have one-thousand eight-hundred and sixty-five dollars.
U still run these? 5 mags in and they all fail to feed after a few rounds
You sight in your red dot without the magnifier flipped over behind it after you have the red dot zeroed in where you want it then you flip the magnifier over so you can see the red dot on your red dot optic and if the dot is off center in the magnifier you use the all w/e turrents on the magnifier is to make the dot appear centered in the magnifier itself that is all those are for just to center it in the magnifier. Only use the red dots w/e turrets for sighting in your red dot itself and make sure to zero it in without using magnifier the turrets on the magnifier are only to make the dot appear centered in the magnifier not for sighting in your red dot
I had the same thing happen with the Glock mags. If you shave down the polymer just a bit on the stock mag right above the notch in the mag they will run flawless.
Did you pay twice?
All of these complaints are before trying to shoot. And he sounds really dejected. How sad will he be when he goes to shoot and it fails to feed after every shot?
It would have ran properly right out of the box. No aftermarket magazines on a concealed carry handgun
Had the same issues...i sanded down the magazines where it was rubbing and it helped a little. Swapped the catch and helped more. My OEM mags got stuck with the premium catch but work OK with the older steel catch. But, agree, dang frustrating.
$1900 down the drain if you have to use it once
They are horrible mags 3 friends own 15 mags between us some 20 rounders or 15. We have put several hundred rounds through these mags between us. We have shield arms mag release, magwell and I'm warning people do not trust your life if u edc the gun using there mags. Horrible horrible company. Spring issues too. Rounds will feed then miss fire and eject magazine rounds loose won't push up buy new springs although these where new and same shit.
What trigger model did you use
I purchased their modified Glock 48 with the S15 mags and having malfunction issues on and off. At first I thought I had bad ammo, but now I know it’s related to their mags. Seen other videos on CZcams recently with the same issues. I’m right handed and still issues .
When it comes up to a magnifier, I don’t mind going a little cheaper but I can’t justify going less then a Holosun or sig sauer for a red dot budget options.
I actually got this same set just as my own little review because I got them cheap enough to not be upset if I threw them away or if I gave them away but I was actually really surprised at the quality and clarity and the fit is really nice with only a credit card width between the dot and the optic. I’d say the only thing I would add is shake awake and I’d try to slim it down because it’s a little in the heavy side compared to others but if you’re not walking through the woods all day with it then it won’t bother you I think it’s heavy because it’s so sturdy because I put it on a junk rifle just to beat it up and see what it could take and I actually broke parts on the rifle before anything happened to the optics. I still have the them and they’re still working like new and still hold zero. This is the first Amazon purchase I’ve ever been happy with when it comes to gun parts. That’s just my two cents on this particular set up. I got both for less than the Romeo red dot by itself
I had three mags they claimed were out of spec, which they replaced, but why don't they just do QC in the first place?? Glock mags are good to go out of the package, but I feel like I'm doing shield arms QC for them. I don't trust thier products.
Did you have to upgrade any internals on the gun? Or is it a drop in trigger?
Adjust your turrets on the magnifier until the dot is in the center of your magnifier. Adjust the dot to be zeroed at 100 yards before you mess with the magnifier. All the turrets on the magnifier are doing is centering your dot from your optic in the center of the magnifier
This right here^^^
Not to many reviews on ghost ❤
ran 500 rds through shield arms mags no issues yet for glock 43x i will keep training with it until it fails and if those mags fail i will go back to stock mags from glock
Damn! $600
I got mine for $485 last month
Got my mos for 525 with tax included
Did you find out how to make it all work.
I am giving props to Shield Arms because they ARE trying to make good mags.
The rail system is the same. Its just a low mount if you dont want to use the 1" Riser.
I have a G48 and a G43X, run S2 Shield mags in both. Over 8000 rounds in 8 mags and no issues
If your finger was bleeding from pulling the trigger, you should have boxed it up, and sent it back to Glock...

Why even mess with these mags when they have mixed reliability? Mags are the weakest part of the whole gun.
