Same goes for putting the bulb back. Insert bulb, quarter turn, THEN PLUG IN!

I changed the hi beams with the cables connected, the low beams are incredibly difficult to even disconnect so far. So little room

Very informative video. I know that removing the tyre will make things easier and get a better cleaning done but can we also do this without removing the tyre?

This is 2013 only. Other years you can remove it with the wire harness attached.

Thank you so much! Every video I saw shows it the other way around and it didn't work. Took no time after watching this. I did need to get a long screwdriver to push the cap down while I had the tab in but it's cold and the car is nearly 10yo at this point.

The manual for my Yamaha WR250F says to add "Lithium soap based grease" to the tube, before pushing the dust seal back into place. I didn't see you do that. Why?

Great video. 👍. I recently had forks oil seals and dust seals and oil replaced at the garage. I've noticed after a ride I get a small line of oil on the forks which is minimal. but is this OK 🤔

I hope you could help me with this: I did exactly the same as on the vid. However, when i try to remove the glue it doesn't stick on to the hole. It just removes everything. I tried superglue as well as 'steel epoxy'.

I really like how you mentioned not over-packing the bearing between the cage and seal. Heated grease has to have a place to sling too and pick it back up as needed. However it looks like you still ended up packing a little too much lol. Some videos shows guys just packing as much as they can but this is a mistake as it will churn the grease and create friction and resistance. Kind of the opposite of why we were lubing the bearings in the first place.

I've rebuilt mine three times, and still leaks. Thanks for the tip I'm going to try it, Thanks again.
