What board? Size. I dont recognize it.
@@adolfallesch7648 oh it's the fanatic foilstyler 103 from 2021
Cool! Great telemetry features there to see. What do you use for the overlays?
@@JimsWindsurfing thanks. I highly recommend goprotelemetryextractor.com/telemetry-overlay-gps-video-sensors
Nice. Definitely seems to help when the board is sinky
Easy to uphaul in the FS 87L is the wind drops?
@@adolfr5930 near impossible
Hey, nice video. Not sure if I have correctly seen that you're you using Sabfoil on this board? Have the same board and use it with Sabfoil, F899HS fuselage, S399 stab, and a set of front wings W699/W799 and W899. However was wondering what position do you usually use on you foil mast track. (the foostrap position I use are exactly like yours). Thanks
@@AatuR yes using sabfoil but I like the s450 stab. I run the 799/899 all the way forward using second hole on mount with no shim
Hi, what was your weight in this video?
Back then prob 76kg
Thanks for the info!!
Do you still use your 143 shredsled? Im 200 pds and have a Nash 140 wing board but was thinking about getting the shred sled or the 114 v3, to get into using a windsurf rig rather than a wing
No. I sold the big shredsled when I bought the small shredsled. Its a better board if the volume is enough. But I rarely use it mostly I ride the fanatic foilstyler. If you only want to windfoil I would definitely go for the wizard 130 or 114 over the shredsled. At 2 bills I would prob go 130. If you want a wing/sail combo board big shredsled would work. But most people 200lbs don't want a wingboard that big.
i'm just starting out dock starting. would you recommend starting with 1250 , 430 setup or the 1350 , 370 setup for a beginner for the easiest to learn on? or if you had to do it over is there something easier you would learn on ? Thank You
@genze58 wont make that much difference early on if you can get a cheap 1250 I would go for it. Eventually you will want 1350 if buying new I would go 1350. Although 370 stab might be a bit small I like 380
how did you go from lats video just hopping on to the two hand technique. My flexibility is lacking so I have getting the front foot forward enough after I place the back foot first.
@genze58 not sure, it just kind came naturally. We have our newbies try to jump onto a park bench while keeping both hands on bench or very close. Also, we have people do runs up and down the dock with two hands on board (not jumping on). We have had some bigger stiffer guys loosen up and get it with time too.
👍🏻
Nadie sabe?
Nice, were you just deciding to stay in switch on starboard tack? Hard to tell from that angle
@aeroengnr yes going between switch foot/reg sail on starboard and reg foot/clew first on port
Congratulations on making it back to Baja, and ripping on the windfoil! How do you like the Ezzy sail?
@lhcoolbreeze5753 thanks! I like the ezzy taka very much, more grunt than my super freaks, first day here I rigged 4.8 taka and got spanked
isn’t this what killed Hide?
🎉
thanks💪💪💪
I took this clinic. The most helpful thing Andy taught me was to lean into the turn like you do when you ride a bike. You want to keep your weight on the inside of the jibe throughout. He also said to look forward to where you want to go. That's also what you do when you ride a bike. I was tending to look at the rig or even at my feet.
Endurance has to be achieved ... somehow.
Muy buena yo tengo una 😊
Very informative content, thanks.
Thanks a lot For your time!! It is very kind of You!! Greetings from México. You helped me a lot.
Good instructor , can see he’s taught that many times
looks like you're getting some good speed!
I can consistently get to 29 knots comfortably, but to go over 30 I need to be on the edge of blowing up. More time on water I guess.
Sweet moves! All that hard work is paying off
SW at the swamp?
I think that day at PA was nnw
Wow! This is the kind of explanation that I needed!
Hey Andy, thank you so much for that great explanation!
The genius of Andy Brandt.
What kit are you on ,foil ,,board and sail ?
Smooth and quiet! That was cool how you showcased a windsurfer and a winger. I really like the wing so far. Maybe it's too easy?
@lhcoolbreeze5753 Wing is easier to get started but there is lots to master, if you make a list. Only bad things about wings are the leashes and their durability
I passed out while doing this if my freind had not came over i would have died
Great tack for such a small foil board. I hate tacking 😅.
just use your speed square to guide the circular saw instead of messing around clamping a board and squaring it with the speed square.
Quite interesting ideas on how an expert would go about the foiling gybe but I got success trying like the Sam Ross youtube video, "How to gybe - windfoiling" which seems simpler ..on entering lean the mast to the outside of the turn and push your backhand forward to make the sail like clew first as you continue to move the mast back. Seems less hazardous, the worst that happens is you drop off foil clew first due to not enough power. There is a video out there of Robby Naish windfoiling clew first on purpose with Kevin Langeree kite foiling alongside.
As soon as I saw a mishap, I gave the 👍.
You almost passed severn guy again just before the finish, got me cheering for ya!
Third jibe seemed pretty money though
Awesome! Some practice for the Defi Wind.
I just got a baby shred Sled. Better on the 2nd session for me. I'm not sure if I will use any sail larger than my 4.7. I also got a wing to learn with on the new SS.
Very cool. Interested to hear how you like winging versus sailing
@@fitnessandinjury I will certainly let you know.
Whoever you are Mr. Fitnessandinjury, thank you for this video. 😉
Fitness and injury indeed.
Just watched your video wind foiling on the sab w800 /399 stab and 1010 so much so that I've ordered a w800 and 1010 fuse. Can you tell me what affect the shim made on set up ?
@@yesmate24460 I have an 1110 that I have never tried to sail with. I tried it for dock starting a couple times with no success
@@yesmate24460 at least no need to rig a 9.0 versus 800
This looks like a blast! I'd love to join you guys some time! Killing it!
Thanks! Swing by any time
