I went to Swan Gully last week. The tracks were pretty challenging, even the green beginner rated ones. I think they’ve eroded over the years. Nice place though.

I have no idea as to why “dome” swags so popular & seem to be the “go-to” design. They sag in the middle making them feel half the size they are & if its raining, you literally open them up to the heavens to get in or out if them allowing all your bedding to get wet, so a tarp is an absolute MUST - just to name a few obvious flaws of the design. But i know you were just reviewing this particular air swag & well done. 👍

Hi from New Zealand 👋, I have the single in this tent and it's an awesome tent the only issues I have with it are the issues you have mentioned with the straps , they simple don't lock they just slip and the mission it is to get it back in the bag omg I brock out in a sweat and skipped going to the gym, how ever a very comfortable mattress.

Power cord roller maybe form Bunnings we have one that's flat and winds up power leads. There is a company that makes one online sales or one used for rolling lay flat hose like in caravan shops. Just have to be careful the coax cable doesn't get twisted inside its sheathing as it rolls. lay out straight and let it twist around as you roll it.

Know the place well, I lived there in the 80's, heading up from Tassie for a trip soon

Hi 👋 I saw this looking gorgeous btw, tips and hints on what I can do with mine which is exactly the same van. So far I've done a lot of things like putting shelves into the right side wardrobe, and installing my toilet to roll in and out in the cupboard underneath, getting rid of the seating on the left near the fridge and creating a cat station shelf, underneath is storage for boxes and under that is the vans 'heart' -all the electrics etc. I didn't paint inside the cupboards but linened them with silver insulation ... ALL of them to keep heat and cold out. Now I don't get a big poof of hot/cold air when I open them. And I've replaced all the lights. For me, this is home for the next 10 yrs. Idk if you ever look back in here or not but I have 2 questions. First the stick down flooring. With some time and travel under your belt - Have they stayed in place with the movement of the van? And the paint ... did you prime to get it to stay stuck to the laminate walls ? And oil or water based paint? Thanks and cheers 😊 happy travels.

Where did you guys find info on what tracks/beaches/campsites you could take dogs to in the area? My wife and I are going to be visiting over the summer break this year and we want to hit some beaches with the dogs.

I like following you two it reminds me when I younger travelling around our great land with my wife a couple of budgies and a dog .
