3:03 when you join the soles with slip stitch, the front part will look like a perfect chain for each stitch (in the video:the left sole on the table), but at the back part (in the video: the sole in my hands) will look like a single loop for each stitch, this single loop is where I start to hdc with black yarn. I suggest you to use smaller yarn and hook, since my pattern is for 0-12 months old baby (9-11cm)😊🙏🙏🙏🙏

For this pattern, I was using milk cotton yarn (5 ply) from China, you can also use DK wight or Light Worsted yarn or any yarn you want that suitable with 3.5 mm hook, you can find this information in the description 😊
