@@Bartlett_Garage it wasn't fun on a 95 degree day! It's a 01 4 door 4wd that I'm planning on stock flooring and keeping static. I've been sitting on a Bravada front end and trim package for 3 years. It's sitting on BMW X5 17's on 2" torsion bar drop and 2" blocks for now. My grandfather, a WW2 vet left me the Blazer when he passed on 2018. He also left me a 69 Eldorado. R.I P HOS

Was you running them on a S10 also?

@@Bartlett_Garageyes I was. A bagged and bodied s10 1st gen 4 door the rear was narrowed 5 inches over all. I had them custom built for my blazer

The roll pan is a cheap eBay one, and the wheels are US Mag, Desperados 22X8.5 with 265/30/22

@Bartlett_Garage i heard of the vair brand and it seems like that is what everyone uses. When i did my air ride on my 99 s10 many years ago i ordered a kit from minitruckin magazine. My compressors where some generic brand but they worked. What is tge difference between the 2 vair models?

I’m pretty sure I got it on EBay, I looked and it’s on there for $145 at the moment. I believe a lot of them are the same and just branded differently. What’s the plans on the first Gen?

@Bartlett_Garage Well I have 2 1st gens. I bought 1 in Feb of 23. It's an 86 4-cylinder. It would bog down when I would give it gas so I started taking apart the intake to rebuild the tbi. The intake ports were packed with chunks of carbon and you know how it goes. Take one thing apart and decide this and that needs cleaning or replacing also so I'm in the process of getting it running good. In the meantime, I found an 87 v6 with AC so my plans are to bag one and static drop the other. My biggest issue it as I get older I become more and more lazy. I rather watch people work on their projects than work on mine. After I watch a few videos I do get motivated to continue to work on my stuff lol.

I have the 96 Single cab short bed I drive daily I’ve had for 15 years now and I have a 98 single cab step side I’m currently redoing and going to sale it because I want to buy a mini truck like your black one or a 96 Tacoma Single cab but haven’t made up my mind yet . My 96 obs is in excellent condition I have a 6.0 in it I swapped 9 years ago and the 98 obs stepside is also in very good condition that I’m currently ls swapping it to resale after I’m done with it .

I’ve always thought the same about the 2nd gens and seems like you got to have 20+ or they look small, now a 1st gen can run 18s. Irocs always look good on S10s and caprices

Sorry for the late response, did you ever get the issue figured out? I’ve got very little pedal at the moment but I haven’t went back and messed with it anymore since it’s not on the road yet..

Are the bleeder valve in 12 o'clock position when you bleeding the brakes? If not, than thats the problem. In the installation instructions it is written "When bleeding this type of parking brake caliper where the bleeder screw is at a 45° angle once installed, we have found that they bleed best when the bleeder screws are at a vertical 12 o’clock position. If they are not, then it will be necessary to reposition the vehicle, the axle, or the caliper. If the bleeder screw is not vertical while bleeding, then you can bleed gallons of fluid through it without eliminating all of the air".

It’s a 7” dual, I believe I got it off eBay. Some of the s10 blazers are a little smaller if you don’t need much room

22s on both, the extended cab is running a bigger tire

Any chance, you could show me under the hood? I’m working on my s10 and I would like to run 22s, I just wanted to get an idea. Only thing is, I have a manual and I want to bodydrop it. But either way, thank you for your videos and thank you for not being some cocky a$$hole. As you said, the struggle is real.

@@hangarhound2241 do you plan on having Heat and Ac? If so you’ll have to run some kinda aftermarket setup.. what year is your truck

@@Bartlett_Garagelol trust me the heat and a/c are def long decided gone. I am going to run 20s all around. 22s I would love to run, but I’m doing a traditional body drop, plus I have a manual trans. Between all of that plus having to tub/small brake booster, I figure 20s should be good enough 🤷🏻‍♂️

I promise you I’ve been there, The only thing I ever had was a carport and didn’t get a shop till this last year. I spent many of cold nights under that carport or in the driveway.
