I could never get used to that sound of that packing device, sounds like a buzzing bug out of nightmares. It would be ringing in my head the whole day. Did you happen to catch recycle?? What does the commercial compost stops? WM or LBC? When are they getting it on residential??
@@TheNVTrashMan I wasn’t able to catch any recycling that day unfortunately. From what ive seen, the Rotopacs collect the organic bins out there. Im not aware of when they’ll be rolling out residential green waste but it’s most likely this year or the next.

The CNG pretty much runs daily. It's only the diesel ones that were on spares last time I talked to someone.
Great job, this is a cool unit!! I feel these trucks will last longer than the diesel 7ks since they're natural gas. That area looks so familiar, the infamous C. Mayor area huh? I've filmed there twice, the area is super nice but the streets turn so funky lol I love it yet hate it at the same time lol.

Did you film the dumpster truck? That's soo cool you caught Grub in this truck too. I still remember weeks prior he got called in to do a Monday recycle route and the arm would not stop freezing on this unit. The mechanic had to keep coming back. 1717 is his normal truck. Was this near Horizon and College Drive? The area looks really familiar.
I didn't film the dumpster truck since it was too hard to chase around. This truck was near the I - 11 and View Monte. If I'm correct, 1535 does recycle there in the afternoon too! Thanks for the comment
@@TrashDudeMatt Cool, he does the areas around Pacific Ave too, all those scattereds should be his. I remember I recorded him there back when he used to drive 1516 ages back. It was a frustrating day having to deal with the arm stopping nearly every other time for Grub. If you ever are there on Tuesday you can find him at Inspirada on Via Firenze and Via Festiva. He has trash cart lines all morning.
Also not sure if you knew this about the Heil Pythons but the arm tends to speed up more when the blade retracts, you may have noticed but he quickly retracted the blade a couple of times before it started packing in your video to avoid picking up a nearby can during its retract phase. The drivers do that to avoid any possible accidents with the arm.
