This is my favorite song of all his songs. I met him in 1978 and heard his concert in Toronto Canada. Last night a mere 44 years later, I heard him at age 77, at the Boulder Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. Sold out.. He has adoring fans. All night I wished he would do this song but he didn't. So I found it here on you tube. This is a beautiful version of it. Thank you.

I heard James Taylor sing this song in May 2014 at a live show. I'd never heard it before and I had a strong premonition that I was going to be meeting my first born child. Along with that premonition was the number 7. My son was born the next summer 7/2015.

JT is the man, the man, the man. I grew up listening to his music. This song is one of my favorites. His music will always be a part of me. I'm in my 60s now and to this day his music, lyric's, vocal and guitar style touch me in a way like no other artist does. I hear one of his songs and it brings back memories of a phase of my life in my youth when that song came out....Fond memories. What a talent. What a gift....

A local guy named Mike Cancellerre used to do this song back in the seventies...man was it good! Memories for miles.......... I was just thinking about this guy and the songs he used to sing and I typed in this title and bingo. This is the tune and I am ashamed to say I didn't know Cockburn wrote it...and I am a fan of his!
