Could you imagine being implicated possibly in hiring a guy to hit Diamond Darrell and then after he and his brother are out of the picture you go on stage claiming to be Pantera?
Thousands paid to hear these Pantera song's played live so, mission accomplished. Speaking of tributes,Phil & Rex waited 20 years to do this. They could've gone out in 2018 when Vin passed,but chose not to. There will never be another Dimebag Darrell or Vinnie Paul (RIP). Anyone expecting the same ferocity and tight AF Pantera performances now that they're gone are sadly mistaken. There's no one forcing people to watch or show up to these live gigs. Plenty of classic Pantera shows to be had for all the purists out there.

Phil's screams hasn't been this consisted since 2016. He lost a lot of that power in 2017-2018 as heard in the superjoint tour in 2017 and with the illegals in 2018. His voice has been recovering ground since 2019, especially when he toured with Slayer right before covid. It's cool to see! And had he not done the pantera celebration he would most likely be doing the Kerry King band. He was considered but then the Pantera celebration popped up.
