Hi sir..from where you are sir. Is your aircon already an inverter? If it is? It is either the board or the indoor fan motor itself.

@@raccoolair-conditioningrep6606 Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. It is an inverter. I will look at getting another technician to have a look at it. If you don't mind me asking you another question. I have another LG inverter which we have hardly used, and when I turned it on, it says CH48, if memory serves me correct, any idea what that might be, as it doesn't turn on and is practically brand new, but was installed a few years back and hasn't been turned on for a long time. At least if I know what they cause maybe, I can get a price from the new technician. Many thanks.

@@confucius247 Hi sir.. about the other aircon.. Error code Ch48 This indicates that there is something wrong w/ the discharge sensor from the outdoor. But it is better to check all the sensors from the outdoor using a multi tester and range it to 100k ohms. It is maybe change value,open or shorted. I believe experienced technicians knows what to do sir. And if the error code is CH38 meaning lacking of refrigerant.Before servicing the unit,it is better to test first the unit and count the blinks or wait for the error code to appear. @@raccoolair-conditioningrep6606 A further update. You were correct in your assumptions. I opened up the indoor unit and then opened up the latch that houses the board with all the wires. I slowly pulled the board out after flipping the circuit breaker to off. What I found was 2 Geckos (lizards) dead on the board and some eggs below the board in the unit that holds everything in place. I pulled the board out, removed the Geckos and eggs below. Sprayed some alcohol on the board and gently rubbed it with a toothbrush and put everything back in place. The air conditioner worked perfectly as it did prior to the technician cleaning it. My bad for blaming him (coincidence) as it stopped working as it did before after he left, perhaps when cleaning it, he scared the Gecko's to move to the board area, which then caused the problem, e.g. short circuit ?. I then put the housing back on, and it didn't work, so I pulled the housing off again and found that the latch that houses the board and the wires, wouldn't close properly and that stopped it from working, so I removed the latch door all together and it works fine. Once again, thanks for your correct input as it has saved me a tone of money which can go towards my daughters braces.

F2 error for alpicool sir If you search google. It says there overload condenser fan motor but in your case sir compressor starts for a few seconds then stops. In that scenario it could be the inverter board or the compressor itself sir.

@@raccoolair-conditioningrep6606 thank you. i figured out which unlabeled breaker to turn off. my aircon LG S3NQ12JA3WA does not have the same harness. the LED stopped working and the start push button button no effect either. i tested and ac 230 voltage is present at panel. remote tested and looks ok but aircon does not turn on.

Try to clean the terminal of the harness sir. Use blade cutter then make atrial and error by plugging and removing til it works sir. If you have a tester check continuity of the harness wiring.

Try and try sir.. hope it will work..
