      You mean in the beginning? Its a common way of playing it, as it brings more energy into the phrase:-) First learn to play it without lifting the bow, and if your teacher thinks you are ready for lifting it, then do it too! All the best for your practice!

      No worries! Just listen to the piece as many times as you need in order to be able to sing it to yourself. Then the notation part of it comes naturally! You can do it! And you can play along with the slow version of this piece - you can find the video in the playlist section!

  • @andrestvpianomusic970

    I have a question, is the elbow position and movement used properly?

    • @violingardenacademy
      @violingardenacademy Před dnem

      Well observed! And yes, its correct! When moving to the D -string, swing your arm forward slightly, so that the fingers are brought to the D-string, rather than having to reach for the D-string. That way, the hand frame stays the same, and your intonation will be more accurate! The same applies for the G-string, you have to swing your arm a little further forward:-) All the best for your practice!

      I know this is a tricky one! The middle section especially - just practice the fourth finger pattern using B flat major on A and E strings. All fingers low except third finger. Its the hardest finger pattern, but remember how much you practiced the twinkle variations in order to learn the first finger pattern? The fourth one needs the same amount of attention and practice. You can do it!
