I'm Brooke, and I like seeing the world on foot! I am a solo female traveler who loves nature and ends up on adventures exploring it.
In January 2020, I left my corporate job to travel full time. I've always thought that you can see more of a place on foot (walking, hiking, running), and I wanted to see the natural beauty of the planet up close.
Two months into my trip, the pandemic happened and I got "stuck" in Thailand. Nine Months into my trip, I met a sailor who invited me to live onboard his 43-foot sailboat as crew! After living onboard for 6 months, we got dismasted, which was absolutely horrifying, and I was back on foot.
After Thailand, I headed to South America where I am currently being blown away by the spectacular nature.

Brooke, a very welcome back. Last time we saw you, you were in Machu Pichu several months ago. I missed this video when you posted because it did not pop up in my youtube notification. When I was about 10-14, my great hero was Tarzan and I wanted to run away to the Jungles of Africa and become Tarzan myself. Then I thought that South America was a lot closer and that's where I wanted to go. Never did make it. Two things of note, 1) that big tree I am sure is Mahogany so keep the exact location secret otherwise people will want to cut it down - very expensive wood used for even more expensive furniture. 2) the mosquito bite itchiness can be alleviated with almost any kind of cheap lip balm (try it, you will be amazed at how quickly the itchiness stops). Missed you, my friend, and thanks for sharing again 💚💚

Hi, what month was that? Not many towns, villages on the way?
Because of the snow, it must have been between May and August, which is winter, Patagonia is a very large territory with only 3 million inhabitants, you can go 200 km without finding a town.
End of June! And yes, there are not many towns along the way, just a few. Usually really small.

One of the few brave souls to film while crossing the carbon river suspension bridge! Most video attempts are aborted followed by an explanation about how much movement is on the bridge while crossing. Summerland really is a beautiful spot!
