At last someone who knows how to build campervans, R&R bed, Swivel passenger seat and good accessible storage. Everything I have but with a great fit and finish...oh and a poptop. Well done wee laddy. Simple is best, I see you are not trying to reinvent the wheel up there like so many of my fellow sassanaks.

@@susanmurchie I have the same van (slightly different layout) if 6'2" then you'd need to bend your neck, I'd say up to 5'8" is ok, any taller then it's bend the head,( doesn't sound right ) I maybe selling mine if you're interested

Hi Gavin. It's not painted birch ply, it's lightweight laminated ply. We build the units from scratch and sand & bevel the edges ourselves.

A near side rear window would be better, so that passengers in the rear can look out when driving along. The rear windows are superfluous because it will be filled up with equipment blocking them most of the time. Rib beds are better than rock n roll beds also.
No, No and no. R&R beds are lighter, simpler, with better storage and far far more comfortable for sleeping. The side windows are stand and where exactly are you going to put rear windows, behind the passenger? Maybe the rear windows were already there, I don't have them.

Not at all Si 😄 We'd love to do a longer one and we will do one soon! We just found that shorter videos tend to keep peoples attention more 😊
But you can't stand up in it ☹ believe me, that will become so annoying over time. Also the bed is too narrow (crossways) and being SWB it's also too short lengthways. I know, I have an SWB Tranny, but it's H2 (approx 5'7" high inside and I am 5ft nuffink!). My bed (single) is all along the side, (5'9") with Sink and toilet on door opening side.
Hey Jo. I'll need to correct you there! The lady that we built the van for can actually stand up in it 😊 The bed is also 6ft wide as the Citroen Relay's are wider than a Transit or a Transporter. People come in all shapes and sizes and so do vans.

How is it 4 berth ?
There's a bed section inside the pop top roof :) plus the rock n roll bed down the bottom, so the van can sleep 4 people in total
