Also, depends how you run the strings through the bridge. You can get a real slinky feel on les pauls by stringing it back and over the tail piece (rather than straight through).

Good question - with this I think your best option for doing it all in the helix would be to use snapshots. So, you could set up your loop - exit the looper and then use the snapshot settings to change the sound. With a little bit of pre planning you will get the result with this approach. If you aren't familiar with using snapshots have a look at the channel and there are a few tutorials there. Good luck, Ryan

The best practice or "backing track" would be to practice the arrangement up to the point where you can play it along with the recording. This will help you fine tune the phrasing of the song. All the best, Ryan

I think with these chord techniques - they are best suited to barre chord or smaller moveable chord triads. So, if you have an understanding of those chord shapes you can start to transpose them around to other keys and chord progressions once you get them comfortable in the positions from the video. I see you've signed up for the trial on the fundamentals program which is a great program for learning/solidifying your skills on the guitar to start playing advanced concepts. Hi there! this question gets asked a lot. A great way to be able to change your effects whilst looping is using snapshots. This involves a little bit of preparation and planning before looping - but once you have it set up you're free to express and play around with ideas. Hi There, When you freeze effect: do you mean like a kill switch to turn the loop off ? Because if so, you could set up a switch or exp ped on the unit to cut the volume of the loop in between transitions. As for the best position - I'd say starting off with the looper as the last block in the signal chain, would be a good place to start.
