America has a society that is always looking for a scapegoat, and she is just the latest victim. If it was CC, they'd devise every excuse under the sun. I was surprised she made the team over Makila Williams who is a much bigger guard and better scorer. That's due to politics in my opinion. However, the team was designed with a defensive stopper in Camron Brink, but she got injured. The person replacing her is a very good player, but she needed more time to prepare for that particular game. HVL went to LSU because there was a spot open, and she had been advised by WNBA pro scouts to add the PG to her skill set to improve her draft stock. It didn't work out, and LSU was caught without another option because of personnel changes. They lost to a team most people have never heard of, but they had a girl on that team who has come back into the WNBA and has been cooking with grease, Tiffany Hayes. This made that little-known team a fabulous hit because the young lady is just that good. These people are so ruthless that they have to spill their hate somewhere and on someone; they act like a social media lynch mob. Apparently, their lives are a living hell, and misery does love company.

I saw so many posts about this on Twitter and it’s starting to piss me off. People are acting like Hailey is this horrible person who did something so beyond horrible and drastic. All she did was hit the transfer portal 2 times (she’s not the only student athlete to hit that portal regardless of the number), and most of her haters didn’t even want her at LSU to begin with….but then she decided to leave and she’s received hate for that. With the Allstar weekend 3x3 challenge game, people were attacking her for “getting cooked” by her former LSU teammate Mikayla even though Hailey’s team ended up winning. Now with this Olympic game, yes they lost but Hailey played extremely well, in fact she had the most points out of her teammates. The fact that people are blaming her for the loss is probably because she’s the most well known person on that specific team, but it also shows that no matter what she does, and how good or bad she does it’s still not enough for people. I genuinely believe that her haters want for her what they also want for Angel Reese…..for Hailey to quit playing basketball forever, to stop existing in the basketball world, and to unalive herself because any posts about her being in the Olympics is met with bullying talking about why she’s even there and not Caitlin. Hailey tried out for the team and made it, Caitlin didn’t try out because she was in the Final Four preparing for Iowa’s loss to South Carolina. Hailey has never claimed to the perfect athlete or be better than anyone, so I truly think that at this point….her haters simply want her to be dead. That’s not me being dramatic considering how Angel Reese has been treated by haters in the basketball world.

For her to have 34 double doubles in a season playing in the SEC was a feat within itself. Kim Mulkey public told the world in a press conference thats Angel's game is different don't sleep on it, and she plays defense. Im sure she told TSpoon to do what ever it took to draft her. Angel made T Spoon look like she knew exactly what she was doing in drafting Reese. She is definitely a franchise player. A knack for the ball is just something you can't teach. Even I be like where in the hell did Reese come from and how in the hell did she know the ball would come off the rim right there?
