The Women’s Getaway was launched in 2019 by Her Royal Highness the Queen of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda and since then we have been privileged to inspire the lives of several women as well as make a difference in the lives of underprivileged girls. Thank you to all our members. Looking forward to even more growth and celebrating womanhood.

Breaking Barriers; that was our theme this year. Thank you to all the beautiful ladies that spared their time to be a part of this full filling event. Our speakers did an awesome job sharing their journeys and how they have been able to succeed in their careers, businesses and lives. And to all our sponsors, we couldn’t have made it without you. We look forward to what 2024 holds.

We were privileged to host the one and only @FashionableStepMum from Nairobi Kenya and to have @renzioniweddingeventsplann9655 as our guest speakers. What a lovely afternoon it was. Our theme was ‘Know Your Worth’ a great reminder for self care, awareness, personal joy and meaning in life.

It was a tough season, but we made it happen. The COVID era led to the inception of the TWG high tea. We were blessed. There’s indeed a silver lining at the end of each tunnel.
