Automobile Gath Automobil Ausstellung Heppenheim 2024
Einmal im Jahr findet in Heppenheim die Automobil Ausstellung statt. Dieses Jahr war zum zweiten Mal seit Firmen Gründung 2013 wieder Automobile Gath dabei und präsentierte seine Fahrzeuge.

Obwohl das Wetter nass und mit 4c nicht angenehm war, entschied ich mich trotzdem zum Saisonstart zur Klassikstadt zu fahren. Zugegeben, es war am Anfang sehr nass und kalt aber ich war nicht alleine viele Alteisen Liebhaber hatten sich auf den Weg gemacht und so wurde es trotzdem ein schöner Tag(Sonne im Herzen).

Leider ist der Sommer schon wieder rum. Zu diesem Anlass verabschieden sich die Klassik Liebhaber von Fahrzeugen allerart für dieses Jahr. Zusehen sind viele wunderschöne Fahrzeuge verschiedener Modelljahre und Hersteller. Hier ist für jeden was dabei. The Leaper on the bonnet really makes a statement. Its a shame Jaguar don't have that anymore. I guess it's pedestrian safety. My 2018 XJ just has the 'growler'.
That thing is surprisingly fragile. Have witnessed more than once the head of the emblem broke off by car wash machine

That engine was anything but bulletproof and it's a nightmare to fix. Look at it here 0:48. Does that look easy?
@@bigmacdaddy1234 I speak from experience of owning one for nearly 30 years, so yes the engine is bullet proof and reliable. One of the best V12's ever designed.
@@rogerpritchard And I speak as a mechanic who had to work on them. Total nightmare, which also explains why they are worth nothing today.
Yes a truly wonderful car. Just don't let untrained garages work on them as they will do more harm than good. Always use a specialist. Superb engine.
@@bigmacdaddy1234 I agree with you .....but they are beautiful cars that if in good enough condition deserve a LS GM ENGINE WITH A TURBO 400 OR GM 4 SPEED AUTO TRANNY. XJ6 AS WELL DESERVE SIMILAR TREATMENTS IF THE CONDITION IS GOOD ENOUGH TO WARRANT .

@Kryptic1046 Yes, working on the V 12 is difficult but the engine is incredibly good and makes up for the effort
@@Kryptic1046 No they weren’t. I worked on both of mine without any mechanical qualifications. I found them a lot easier than working on a modern car. People need to get over the fact that there is an old injection system that filled the top with pipe work, it easy enough to remove to get where you want to..
Superb engine, and the most reliable and bullet proof V12 ever designed. Good servicing and professional mechanics are definitely needed!

Really? So this crap handling car didn’t obliterate all comers at Bathurst in Australia or win the Trans Am category 1 drivers and manufacturers championship in America with the same V12?
@@paulfitzgerald7513actually it’s a smooth ride the only thing that actually is disappointing and difficult is the engine. The V12s are infamous for having a lot of issues, the electrical wiring is another issue on these but everything else is good, above standards as it is a luxury car, and when in perfect running order they can be as silky smooth as a baby’s skin. They also came with a inline 6 which were more gas efficient and was much more reliable than the V12 engines. Do you own any of these Jaguar XJS, XJRS, XJSC, or XJS HE?? If you did then you would not be saying these things, they are an acquired taste. If you were a mechanic for one of the early V12s or the V12s in general then i would understand your disrespectful comment towards such a beautiful car.

Ein schöner Klassiker, der noch jene charismatische Linienführung hat, die Ästheten in Begeisterung versetzt. Der Zwölfzylinder von Jaguar ist göttlich und in Verbindung mit dem Sänftenfahrwerk schwebt er über die Strassen, alle Erdenschwere scheint aufgehoben zu sein und man erfreut sich an diesem einzigartigen Gesamtkunstwerk. Ich fahre selbst einen Daimler Double Six, allerdings aus der Serie 3 (Baujahr 1992) und würde diesen Traumwagen niemals verkaufen! Der Fahrersitz in dem hier vorgestellten Fahrzeug unterscheidet sich von den übrigen Sitzen und stammt entweder aus einem Daimler (Jaguar) oder aus einem Vanden Plas.
Für mich eins von den schönsten Autos und ein wahnsinns V12 Motor.. Heute mit einem neungang Getriebe gut vorstellbar aber leider keine Realität mehr dank unseren Klima Spinner..😉

When handed over to the buyer everything works. I've bought over 10 Jaguars here and never had a problem.

Hi naja XJ S3 ist schon sehr schön aber auch die anderen XJ haben durchaus ihre reizte und noch viel wichtiger ihren eigenen Charakter. Ich hab alle meine XJ sehr gerne und genieße jede Fahrt egal ob 6/8 oder 12 Zylinder oder XjR alle top möchte auf keins der Fahrzeuge verzichten.

The XJ12 Daimler III is an incredible vehicle, the engine runs so smoothly. The vehicle is also one of my favorites. I enjoy every ride with my car, but this is still for sale

Das ist richtig die x300 hatten nur 6(4L)oder 12 Zylinder(5,3L)
@@bertholdsturmer8279 Nein, es gab 6-Zylinder als 3,2 und 4,0 sowie den 6,0 V12. Den 4,0 gab es auch noch als Kompressor.
