Quick draw is far better do you make them ?
Quick draws are bulky, most of them dull the blade and ruin the spring. I don't like them so I don't make them.

Nice looking sheath! The 4 NikolovLeather sheathes I purchased for my Buck 110s and 112s over the past 2 years all look like new. Including the one I EDC. I'm very happy with these beautiful sheathes!!
Thank you, getting such a lovely feedback is a motivation booster for every craftsman !

Hi Nikolov. I got one of yours for my Buck 110 (horizontal plane) and it fits perfectly.
Thank you for your comment, love it when I get such feedback :)
Hi man i got one from you (without the texture though) for my 110, love it
Try blue magic you can get at auto parts
Thanks to this amazing polishing hack, my wife now hates me because she brushed her teeth with Flitz metal polish instead of Colgate after I swapped the tubes round to do this and forgot to put them back the right way 😬😬
I'm sorry buddy, but I laughed like a lunatic reading your comment 🤣 Why would you place the metal polish where the toothpaste stays 🤔
Do your Buck knives always smell super minty? Not a bad thing- just curious. Thanks for the tips!
No, they don't. Nowadays I rarely clean patinas - I've acquired a lot of knives over the time and cleaning them all would mean I won't do much else. So I've learned to like the patina on brass and carbon blades
Why not use a tooth brush to apply the tooth paste with? Would that scratch the finish?
I doubt it would scratch the knife but it will, most likely, trow toothpaste everywhere.
I like Mothers Mag Aluminum Polish. It works faster and it doesn't leave my knife smelling minty fresh.
Oh, for sure a dedicated polishing product for metal would work faster. I just showed an alternative way.
@@NikolovLeather I was already sure you knew that. I just had to get in the "minty fresh" part as a bit of a joke. 🤣
Do you know of anything, i.e. finish coat for brass, or just repolish when it tarnishes?
I just clean it again when needed. The more you use the knife the less it needs it. I don't think any kind of finish on the brass would work good on a piece like a pocket knife - it would peel, crack or rub off.
@@NikolovLeather thanks.
Dude holy shit, this took me not even 5 minutes and it looks brand new. Thank you for making this video.
I'm happy people use it ! I found it kind of accidentally, saw how wonderful it works and had to share :)
Amazing
When you gonna make more like this with clip ?
Are those real brass?
Yep, genuine brass from Buck.
Interesting. Never thought of using a dremel to assist with hole punching. I have no grip left in my hands any more. May have to try this.
I like zippo alot its very cool
Yep, Zippo's are awesome !
Brasso has worked for me for many years
Also easy for smart phones
is etsy the only place to buy your products?
Mostly Etsy, but I have some of them listed on amazon - www.amazon.com/s?me=A2I9DVS8L3GSWO&rh=n%3A11260432011
Cool coincidence...I'm actually wearing my horizontal 110 sheath today. First day I worn it!

Beautiful work Davis!
Than you Brad, feels nice to be appreciated !
@@NikolovLeather Definitely! I wear one of your sheaths daily. I have many to choose from!
Unintended ASMRs give the best feeling tingles.
I just found you on Etsy and saw the link to these videos. That sheath looks fantastic! Is the color oxblood?
Thank you ! The color is dark brown with red tint in it. I've done my best to show it in real color on the video, but depending on the screen you're watching it on it might differ more or less.
I have a question what type of screw did you use to open your leather man
It is called a "security torx", the size of the Surge is T10, you will need two of those to hold counter.
Hey Davis! Why don't you glue a thin piece of leather inside that blade compartment? That would provide more surface area to stabilize that blade. Also, you wouldn't need to replace the leather as often as the matchstick. Just a thought.
Hi Brad, It is interesting idea. But may be if it's tight enough to prevent the rattling it will also get in the way of changing the blade. In the match stick method you just take the stick out and change or reverse the blade. And I'm not certain that this particular blade holder can be disassembled. For the next folding utility knife I get that does not have the hole I will try your idea :)
That was really cool!!
I don't use a lighter. But I'm sure this case is every bit as nice and well constructed as the 3 Buck 110 &112 cases you previously made for me, and the Buck 110 case you are currently making for me. Excellent craftsmanship, Davis!!
Thank you Brad, I am glad you like them !
That's very amazing bro I couldn't do that if my life depended on it ;)
I like lighters alot
Hey guys, Davis here. Have you ever seen such an interesting thing in person ? Well, I haven't had up until this point. Pretty interesting and kind of Bond style. I like it. How would you like a full review of it ?
So what does that mean you don't even tell a price
Didn't know gru had a CZcams channel. Didn't know it was so helpful either!!
Davis...can you make this for a Buck 112? That is a gorgeous sheath!!
Hi Bradley, Yes, I can. I see you already placed the order so I'll make the sheaths as you specified in the note. Thank you for your kind words !
Hey Davis! I just found this video. Looking forward to receiving my special order sheath, and placing an order for 2 more. Subscribed
Bradley, This video is pretty old by this point, it does not show all my sheaths and the ones it shows - I make better now. I just can't seem to find the time to shoot an updated version of it.
Beautiful job.
Worked amazing
Thanks for the tips!
Thanks....
Nice haul! Congrat on getting a first year production Skeletool!
Thank you ! It was the reason I went for those auctions in the first place. And then to justify the shipping costs I went for few more :D
i have a question, doing a cross stitch like this, how to maximize tension on the stitch without making the case too tight to replace the lighter? i did one case w a similar stitch and it was too tight to replace the lighter
I make it by feel. So quite often when I use new leather I also make it too tight. But with few tries one can usually learn how tight the particular type of leather should be.
Where ja get the big tooling stamp ?
Thanks for the tip! You get the award for the hairiest arms ever! lol
Oh, thank you ! You know - I did a DNA test, turns out I have 17% Neanderthal blood, so

Do the nickel bolsters tarnish at a similar rate? Shorter, longer?
In my experience it's pretty much the same as if the knife was new. They don't coat with with anything at the factory.
This is exactly what I needed, this is great
Nice, do you also ship to Spain?
Yes, I do. Also this clip is quite old but I can't seem to find the time to make an updated version of it, my leather work is a bit different now. All the current offers you can find on my Etsy shop.
