I had a 2010. Got it home, wouldn't crank. After many days and a few thousand bucks later, it was the lead frame sensor. Ford ended up fixing it, but I had to get the dealer to cover it. I had bought it used from a non-Ford dealer. Ultimately, they covered it, but after a few other issues, I got rid of the truck for a Toyota Tacoma (which I have never had a single issue with).

I used a micofiber cloth and small amount of rubbing alcohol to clean all area to be sealed. Let dry than add the new permatex sealer.

Why did you sell the Lincoln Town car?

I recently bought a Lincoln Town Car with 210k miles. The main reason I bought it was for the reliability and being relatively easy to work on yourself.

My Female Friend did the samething the 1st time she started my 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis LS & didn't pull the column shifter in all the way to put it in drive. I was devastated.😬

Sorry to see that you sold your beautiful Lincoln Town Car. 😢😢Back in 2007, it took me awhile to find a nice used Lincoln Town Car at a decent price. I ended up buying a 2002 Town Car that had 36k miles on it, and paid $11,750. Not long after I bought it, I was in a parking lot and a guy was looking at it and wanted to buy it. He made several offers, but I kept saying no. He finally went up to $15,000 and I was tempted to sell it, but I didn't. Seventeen years later, it's still my daily driver!!

Nick, you weren't greedy about the price. That's big of you, but you might have got a little more for it. I had to laugh at the unsubscribing comment where you replied you were going to cry. It's like he was saying without that Town Car you were nothing. Going from a LTC to a Bravada is enough punishment in itself. It's like going from a Harley to a Vespa. I am glad you never modified it, either. I think making videos about the Bravada is kind of pointless, seeing there are thousands of great Bravada channels already and you would just get lost in the sheer volume of them.

Im sure you have heard this alot but you could have gotten alot more. Anthony would have sold that for 25K you could have got at least 18-19. I would have been interested along with others had we known it was for sale.

I’ve enjoyed your videos on the Town Car. You are a very straightforward guy, a little different than most automotive You Tubers. May want to consider visiting one of the classic car auctions, whether one of the Arizona auctions out my way in Arizona in January (or the Mecum FL auction the same month) or the Fall Carlisle out in PA or the up-and-coming GAA classic car auctions in Greensboro, NC. There is a real “sweet spot” at some of these auctions where there are nice, usually lower mileage examples of (usually) well-maintained vehicles at or near the bottom of their depreciation curves-kinda like your Town Car. The cars aren’t always cheap but there are some gems. (I am still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on at least one of several low mileage 2003 and 2004 “special interest” Mustangs (Mach I and Cobras) for sale at the MAG Auction (NOT Barrett-Jackson) that may never be priced as low again.) Good luck in the future
