Die goede, oude speeltuin...daar hoort alleen maar 78-toeren romantiek bij! Enkele foto's uit de oude doos - jaren '60 en ook enkele foto's van de nieuwe speeltuin en het vijvercomplex. Tante Terry kwam hier in 1963 op bezoek t.g.v. "Munster 1300". Jefke Hendrikx verzorgde de drukke "kantin".

Goede Morgen Eelco Gelling just the very best in his time when I saw him playing in Haarlem on the Pinkstermorning in 1969 with those blistering solo's with Herman Brood ramming away on the piano, I never forget the moment!!!!!!

In this period I followed Cuby and Focus, man those guys where top musicians in the Netherlands, Eelco in his day was a great passionate blues player and Harry had great feel too.

That John Mayall album with Eric that came out in early 66, influenced so many. Plus the BBC live broadcasts too. Things were changing so fast back then. Thanks so much for posting this.
More like the album Eric did with John Mayall, the Beano album really put him on the map as a guitar player of note.

Toch wel wat anders dan Kensington of Di-Rect. Harry Muskee op zang, Eelco Gelling op gitaar en Herman Brood op piano..
De geest van die tijd was de Blues en de musici die dat speelden waren super gepassioneerd, besteden uren aan improvisatie studie, die mentaliteit is niet vergelijkbaar met tegenwoordig.
