All good but there is a lot of pain. Just let me tell ya. Great table. However please let your patience know all of their 8 + thigh muscles will be sprained, bruised and swollen. So you have that secondary severe pain to deal with! Thank you

Thanks for letting me know.
How long does the pain last? My mother had this surgery 2 weeks ago and she shouts even if we touch her leg

That was the “surprise” in the box of Kracker Jacks... I only had the nerve to watch a real time video AFTER my surgery to greater understanding why this or that hurts.. Dang...10 days post and I’m walking unassisted with caution.

This really is an amazing surgery. I had it done last July of 2020. I am 67 years old and after surgery I was walking around a city block with a walker 48 hours after surgery and went back to work doing light construction 13 days after the anterior hip replacement. Am doing great today.
A quick question did you have ceramic or titanium? I'm 50 and I need one really bad
@@jimmorrison3830 It is made of both. There is the 7 inch part that is implanted into the femur that is titanium. And the ceramic part looks like half of a cue ball that is on the end of the titanium shaft. That is the part that goes into the socket of the hip. It has now been 9 months since my surgery and I feel many years younger. I walk normally and have virtually no problems with the hip. It is wonderful. the scar is 5 inches long and there were no stitches or staples to deal with. The surgery took less than an hour and I've had more trauma with getting a tooth pulled. The Anterior method for me would be the only way to go. No muscles cut. Small incision. And no rehab or physical therapy required for me. It depends on the person of course, but this method compared to the traditional hip replacement procedure is so much easier, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to have it done on my other hip if its ever needed.
@@bantumwt Thank you so much for replying I wish you a speedy and healthy recovery but it looks like your on your way to that.. What was the name of your doctor? I saw at hospital for special surgery HSS Dr Nawabi. in NYC
@@jimmorrison3830 I would say that I"m fully recovered. Have 1 more check up at the 1 year mark. My doctor is Dr. Uggen in Omaha Nebraska. czcams.com/video/9P_1qQ5uIoY/video.html&ab_channel=NebraskaMethodistHealthSystem
@@bantumwt thank U very much for replying back to me again. . I assume the stem is titanium and the balll is ceramic. For the stem I hear they either Use cement or they don't Depending on the stem
Hi, there 👋, How should I contact your team ?
All I can think about it the machine going haywire and ripping me in half.
That didn't happen to me. However, being on that table left me in far more muscle pain post op than any of the other things used on me over the numerous surgeries I've endured. Oh well, could be worse. Feels like I was bent over a 5 gallon bucket for days right about now.
