Most of the times you can tear the adult pull-up style nappies, and you do not need scissors

Aw thank you for your content .. don’t worry about the negative comments at least you showed an example of how to change an adults pad. Been a CNA for 23 yrs and still hard to do it when resident can’t move or súper soiled but the important thing is give them personal care and love. ❤ take care

Good video. I want to say disable is a nicer word than the word handicap. When you remove a dirty diaper from a patient you should first roll it closed. Because if there is any poop inside the diaper it will fly out of the diaper all over the place making a big mess if it is not rolled closed before being removed. Also whenever you turn a patient who is laying in bed onto their side you have to first make sure they are laying on their back in the middle of the bed. Then you turn them on their side. Because If they are in the middle of the bed before you roll them on their side then you will not have to get up into the bed with the patient to work.. And the patient won't be laying too close to the edge of the bed with no rail for safety, You still did a good job. Bless you, Amy

I need help can you change my nappy in bed

My mom got discharged yesterday. Today was the first day of me home treating her. I wished i watched this video before i went all “gung hoo” Man….. ripped 3 diapers.. had trouble centering it. Thank God for the underpad and liner. I thought I did great for the first day until i had to change the diaper. Oh man, do i give you health care providers credit! Thats alot of work.. OMG. As a patient that needs help like this.... no. That method is painful. And the diaper is not situated for a female. Fold it in half long ways to make the crease go away and lay in the legs comfortably. This is why I have to train every single nurse, everytime.

That diaper is not even on properly ..if the patient shit or pee it will be out on the side...you can do better..

I just got new job where I work night shifts and it involves chaning the diaper for man in the evening. I've been nervous about doing this properly because I want the best for him, he can be hard to understand when he talks so the communcation when changing the diapers could be impacted by it. THANK YOU for this video, I feel a lot more confident now
