As strictly monogamous, I would welcome the idea of trying an open relationship with less rules, if I knew I could wake up as a mind flayer at any day, so the fact that Larian gave us this at the end of the adventure makes Halsin's romance much sweeter. Pity we don't get a longer, mature conversation about his desire to settle down and abandon polyamory, though.

This is a Tav game but selecting Shadowheart to talk to them, you find them in the House of Grief - and saved them and Shadowheart keeps the Shar punishment scar on her hand rather than release/kill them to become moonmotes.

Agreed, they do seem to have a very uplifting approach to death and loss, I guess when lifespans between elves and humans and gods are so different, acceptance is the only way to live, otherwise you end up like Ketheric Thorm, twisted by his grief.

@@samantha_shaw Ketheric was twisted long before his grief. He only followed Selune cause of his wife. No one took his wife from him, she was sick and dying, they all knew that. Then his daughter, supposedly his reason to live, fell in love and he wasn’t happy for her. He was jealous and obsessed and only wanted her for himself. Do you know what happens if you bring Isobel back to him alive? He puts in a tadpole in her, to control her. He is disgusting. His grief is part of the problem. Blaming the gods? Selune did not take his wife, and while we don’t know exactly how Isobel died, pretty sure Selune did not take her either. So all these jumps from Selune to Shar to Myrkul were sadistic attempts to make things as he wanted them to be. F*ck the whole land where he lived (I’m sure his wife and daughter “approved”), f*ck every tadpoled innocent person forced to be turned into a monster, f*ck even his daughter’s wishes.

He has spent many years living and captured in the Underdark.

This scene triggers after the fight with the netherbrain, you have to kill the brain, then dont go with Laezel or Karlach. You then get the city celebrating then this is the next morning.

He can be annoying and demanding at times so that is understandable and you probably are not the only one.

Probably just re-used the same idle animation that they used for Gales character. You’ll find a few characters in the city have the same voices as the main characters, I kinda enjoy finding the main parties “voice doppelgängers” and seeing how the VA’s tried to change their voice to sound different. (Kinda how the same person voices both Autie Ethel and Tara the Tressym)

@@elenalizabeth yes could well be the same idle which is why it seems so familiar. Also the voices are so good but you can sometimes recognise the odd “voice doppelgängers” across the game.

Disappointed we don’t get the option to go beat up the thugs and help him re-unite with his beloved. Though at this point I may just be looking for any bad people (in game) to punch 😂 and some rich controlling twat and his thugs sound like perfect targets

You have to get killed and disowned by Bhaal after you kill Orin, so Withers then claims you , then get Opheous to turn into a mindflayer and dominate the netherbrain, win the fight against the emperor and brain, then as you get the option to kill the brain or betray everyone, and you get “in my name” as the dark urge, hope this helps.

You should get the scene after you kill the netherbrain, have the scene on the docks and then the summary of the city celebrating, you then get this scene with whatever companions you have romanced (unless it is Karlach or Wyll who go to the hells), it will only happen if you have patch 6 installed, also some updates and or mods have caused problems with the scene triggering.

They are all slightly different, I have had the "May i kiss you" for Wyll, Halsin and Shadowheart, although Halsin also has "How about another kiss". "Could i kiss you" for Astarian, "I want you to kiss me" for Gale and "I'd like you to kiss me" for Laezel, is so nice that they are all not the same.
