Never seen this before tbh it's not great the jokes have no room to breathe and as good as rik is he don't shut up lol it's no bottom that's for sure tho the Chris Barry appreance was awesome lol

Unpopular opinion but this is quietly one of the best sitcoms of its era, and in many ways surpasses both the Young Ones and Bottom.

Debs looks so much nicer with short hair she's gorgeous.

I’m 100% convinced that everything from The Young One to Bottom is a single storyline. I refuse to explain further, but trust me when I say the idea isn’t crazy at all!!

So happy to have discovered this. As groundbreaking as the Young Ones was, and as riotious as Bottom was, this was always my favourite Mayall/Edmonson sitcom. And one of Ben Elton’s most underrated works too.

Great upload, great series which often flies under the radar. Aesthetically, Filthy must have been modelled on Dennis Waterman.

Don't like to see people get this wrong and assume it's some lazy fart comedy with a few lefty references. It pales in comparison to their other work but this is still a classic skewering of "light entertainment". Nigel Planer as Ralph Filthy is particularly underrated!
