I also agree 100% 🥰💙
Curl typing has helped tremendously when trying to learn our hair. Some products that work great on 4C hair, my nieces work great! On my hair it fails miserably. Some products are universal, but many are not. So no it's not a scam...and we're all aware that we have a variety of types of hair on our head. It's nice to be able to use communicate universally and have a basic understanding.
Michelle is an expert at wash-n-gos. I could never! 🤣🤣🤣
I haven't found a product I love for my hair yet and i’m tired of wasting money on products. These videos make me want to try these products.
Her hair is gorgeous! 🥰💙
Absolutely beautiful.. but not every type 4 natural will have these results. I think that’s important to mention that because even if the hair appears to be 4c when dry and “unshingled” it could very well be a catfish curl pattern even with the exact same technique used on 4z hair (and I say that in honor of those that have no pattern at all no matter how much shingling and defining we do 😂) I feel like the chase for the looser curl is still setting us naturals back as far as loving/accepting/appreciating our hair the way it is. But whether it’s super defined or “frizzy” I think both are lovely and should be celebrated equally.
Where is this salon?
Your hair looks real hard n stiff🤔
Thank You …..Thank You for making that statement just concentrate on the quality product and how that magic works on your hair…It doesn’t have to be Complicated!!!!
I keep telling people this. I got a very low style, after my big chop. This was four years ago, and my hair is still loose in the front, straight in the middle, and tight on the bottom. I used to rub the sides and back, until it would curl up, because my entire head was straight.
I have three different hair types on my head
Great 👍 job 👏 ❤
Where can I get this product from
Love love love these curls thanks for sharing❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤😂😂THANK YOU I BEEN SAYING. PEOPLE ARE GULLIBLE
I don't understand what there is to be "gullible" about. If anything, people commonly say that type 3 and 4 curls should get similar treatment anyways. It's not a lie that your hair may need different treatment than someone else's because of how curly it is. It's not the only thing that should be focused on, but it's definitely not nothing.
Where are you located? I've always dreamt of wearing my hair in its natural curly state. I just ordered this foam to gel. Is this all I need?
I always comb my hair before washing, so that I don't plug the drain up so much when it fails out during washing plus it's easier to comb afterwards. As a little kid my hair hair was super long, thick, and course. I used to plug the drain and the vacuum with all the hair I lost daily, but it never thinned out. Even though my hairdresser used to always tell me, I had the perfect hair, because she could do anything with my hair, I never cared for it cuz maintenance was extremely long hours and work. I never appreciated it but I'm trying.
Yessss!!! And unfortunately for us middle and young women, the food in America is DETRIMENTAL to our hair no matter what u do When my mom was younger their hair texture and everything was so different. It's so soft healthy curly etc Even as a little girl I look at my pics and my hair was so much healthier overall. And all my mom did was grease it and cute ponytails lol I'm 38 now and it's a whole weekend event to wash/do my hair and/or my daughter's It's ridiculous Quite simply we're not getting the vitamins etc as we naturally should from our foods No matter what type of hair you have Smh
That's it... I have to try this product for myself!
Thank you for pointing this out, this is the same for me, so finding products that work for the different curls patterns is hard. This is genetic for me, and not heat damage. My sons have this issue as well, and they’ve never had heat applied to their hair.
I hate DOING wash and goes too. But I’d someone else did it for me that’s be great. Love her results.
Hair curl type system is NOT a scam and I’m tired of everyone acting like it is. There’s so many systems in place already to help us identify things that are VISIBLE to us so why not use these to our advantage?! My type 4C will NEVER and I mean EVER look like a 3C therefore having and using the hair curl type system has its benefits for styling and maintenance. Once again using the difference of my 4C hair and someone else’s 3C, I can’t detangle my hair in huge sections because my CURL type would not allow it due to it being much tighter with the coils. My hair can be twisted or braided and maintained without banding the ends. Someone with 3C hair will need bands to secure it because of their CURL TYPE 😊
Yeah, I get what she's saying about people having different curl patterns on the same head and needed to put less focus on it, but it's definitely not a scam.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Any time! 🖤
Will you ladies show using the Hair gel or mouse on short hair. Thanks ~
Absolutely 🖤 We have a few videos already up with shorter hair models and we will continue to include them in our styling series 🙌
hair curl types are facts and heat damage changes curls types
Heat damage can definitely alter curl patterns. We're mostly advocating for quality products and good techniques 🙌🖤
I believe yes some it just happens naturally but also it’s because stretching your hair for different styles for long periods of time changes it hair texture in different places. Your curls are more likely to be start reversing back to a less curly texture over time especially the older hair (hair ends).
Most can be possible for sure! That's why it's so important to have quality products that will work for any hair type and texture 🙌🖤
Wait? So there aren't different types? Or are you saying there's no such thing as products that work better or just for specific types? I'm so confused. 😫
We're mostly advocating for quality products and tried-and-true techniques versus focusing on the hair type when choosing products 🖤
My hair is exactly like this & it makes it hard to style, i need to get this mousse
You would absolutely love this mousse 🙌 Makes styling super simple and easy 🖤
Part 2
Part 2 is now up on our page 🥰🖤
Gorgeous. It's true. I don't feel the need to straighten my hair once I figured out how to curl it. I think it's the desire for volume and length not so much "straight" hair😊❤
Thank you 🙌🖤 I can relate 100%! Have you tried these products on your curls yet?
I don’t want curls I NEED CURLS😭
You almost had me for a second 😩😂🖤
I’ve notice that as my hair grows longer, my curl pattern has become looser.
I've experienced that too! That's why it's so important to have quality products that will work for any hair type and texture 🙌🖤
That might be because the longer hair stand is weighing it down a bit.
AGREED 🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾Curl typing is a scam And can be used to divide
Big scam! Quality products and good techniques are most important 🙌🖤
All you need to detangle is Ambunu leaves....it's like a gift from heaven for detangling hair
Her hair color 😍
We are obsessed with it 🙌🤩
It doesn’t make sense to say that curl typing is a scam just because people have different curl types on their head. You’re just confirming that it ISNT a scam.
Mostly we're just advocating for quality products and good techniques over a typing system to decide how to style 🙌🖤
That's exactly what I'm thinking! The whole point of curl typing is just saying that some curls/coils are bigger than others, and it's just giving them a definition by size for comparison.
So pretty! My grandkids are under 5, is this safe for kids?
Yes! This is the perfect for the whole family 🙌✨🖤
This is very similar to my hair as well. I have looser curls in the front and back, and tighter curls in the middle of my head.
Same here 😅 I love that these products cater to all of my hair needs textures and patterns 🙌🖤
My hair is looser in the front too and my natural gray streaks are almost straight with a slight wave. The back of my hair has the prettiest curls and coils.
Same.❤
We love that every set of curls is unique 👏🖤 Have you tried these products on your curls yet?
I have the exact same situation, and there was a period when a stylist insisted my straight/wavy grey in the crown was heat damage. I wasn't using ANY heat, and she kept saying, "we need to trim this damaged hair"....10 years later, and cutting/trimming hasn't changed that section. Needless to say, I no longer visit that salon.
@@latonyajackson4295 Right because it looks like heat damage but it’s not. I know this because I started questioning it but I didn’t have heat damage anywhere else on my head but to be safe I cut it off and it grew back just as straight
So true I have several different curl patterns on my head lol, I love them all ❤the key 🔑 is knowing how much product to water ratio you need for the different curl patterns to get the desired style you want. Our hair is as unique as a fingerprint & can't be put in a box 📦 Our coils are beautiful 💁🏽♀️💫
Absolutely! Technique is everything 🙌🖤 Have you tried these products for your curls yet?
Do you ever use heat on your hair ? I noticed I NEVER used heat for about 5 years after my big chop. Once I begin blow drying and using heat, my curl pattern changed in different sections of my hair and became more loose. Also when I colored my hair, it changed. However , while it was in its true virgin state. No heat, no color, no nothing, my hair was one texture ALL OVER.i can also say that my hair pattern would differ depending on how often I moisturized and slept.
@@demetria4339 yea it's the heat and color loosening the curl pattern but even when i was little girl when my mom just used to do my hair i always had S curls in the front but coils in the back
@demetria4339 No I've been natural besides childhood for the last 7+ yrs and I only used heat once when I 1st got my big chop(2017). Most ppl I know have multiple hair textures( both that use heat & the ones that don't). Also I don't have any color & have never gotten color since going natural. It's very common to have multiple curl patterns/characteristics on one head of hair.
@@Michebeauty I have the gel to foam mousse ❤️ the tropical oasis gel, the detox shampoo, both deep conditioners ( the protein & the moisture) & moisturizing shampoo Love them ALL thanks so much for such quality products 🙌🏽🖤
My hair is the same way …looser curl pattern in the front (it also tangles more) than the hair in the back
So real 🙌🖤 So many people have different textures throughout!
I 100% agree.
Yes we have to shift our focus to quality products and techniques 🙌🖤
@Michebeauty yes ma'am!! I just recently started following your page, but I love your techniques. I tried a few on some of my clients, and they worked wonders!! I wish you whole did wholesale on your products. Thank you for sharing your wisdom 🙏🏾 ❤️
Nice 🥰
Thank you 🥰🖤 Would you try these products?
Ugh I can’t wait til my hair grow long enough so I can stop doing protective styles and look like this!
We love protective styles! But it's nothing like having those curls out 😁✨🖤 Have you tried these products yet on your hair?
@@Michebeauty I’m still looking for that hair care line that really works for me
Yes, it does matter. My hair doesn't get wet enough to use the product.
Hello, I've seen your videos where the hair stylist only uses one product, sometimes it's the Gel, sometimes it's the mousse, and I can't tell why one product is used over another, the results all seem the same, defined curls. How do we know which product is best for us? Thank you.💓
Hi ✨🖤 The gel is going to give you a firm hold on your curls while the mousse is going provide a more voluminous look with a medium to firm hold! Hope this helps 🖤
@@Michebeauty Thank you for responding. Yes that definitely helped. What place does the leave-in conditioner have? Especially since we shouldn't layer the products. I watched a video today where you mentioned that the gel to mousse has a leave-in conditioner in it.
@@allways8782 No problem! 🖤You can use a leave in conditioner when you want you results to turn out more soft and fluffy.
I love your vedios but I've noticed that most of your client's hair is already fluffy and easy to work with, just wondering if 4c hair could turn out this way too?
Thank you for supporting our videos 🙌🖤 Check out our page to see this product in action on more coily textures
I used to tke 2 hours to detangle my hair, I learned 2 things.. 1. I can detangle way easier under running water. 2. It was due to the shampoo I was using, it was damaging my hair and making it rough and tangled. Get a good quality shampoo and a use a good brush with wet hair. I don't even use conditioner to detangle my hair and it's still a great result in 10 minutes. As for daily detangling I spray it down with water and brush though with a good brush.
Tea! ☕️🙌 Detangling with water helps so much with timing. Have you tried these products with your technique?
Do you have a dryer at home? Which one is please. Thank you. Xx
Hi!🖤 She did use an at home dryer but unfortunately we are not sure of the name
Those curls! She's gorgeous. ❤
Right! We agree 🙌🤩 Have you tried these products yet?
