I had that bed, must be fixed to the walls or it is scary wobbly !!!

I doubt that location of the stove and sink is convenient. If I want to wash one glass or vegetables, where do I put the clean ones and the dirty ones? Do I need to go around the the island for a counter space? Moving back and forth that trolley is not useful for a quick prep.

Lots of storage in a small space but not esthetically pleasing at all.
i put 2 of these loft beds and underneath i use it for computer room another one for single sofa reading room .. in between these two loft beds i put 2 of the billy book cases so i that i can put books etc. i also had to cut the legs of stora beds to 30cm shorter. I m so happy with the result , so much more space
You would need quite a tall ladder ( which has to be stored close by) to access those tall cabinets, and dropping those same cabinets down to the counter has lessened the counter space considerably. Almost no counter space near the sink/ stove area...yikes!I love my own IKEA kitchen but don't see the wisdom of these particular suggestions.

Can I ask, maybe I missed it, but where is the sink? Or the fridge?
It’s nice to have these ideas for small rooms. But the truth is almost everyone out every family with children wants to live in a place with wide space. Or even with a own garden where the children could live. But unfortunately this isn’t affordable or realistic for everyone. I live in Germany and even here (no, not everybody is rich here - it’s far away from that) families live in small places but it’s it’s always only a compromise solution to live like that but noone really absolutely loves it. But thanks IKEA for the inspiration. Without these solutions and ideas it would be even worse.
