I think we can all agree they only put Elena and Damon together because they were dating in real life and somehow it was fan service. Kevin knew better than that! This wasn't a Dawson/Joey/Pacey type love triangle. No one wanted Joey with Dawson because the actors who played them had 0 chemistry. No. Paul and Nina had chemistry and to me they will always be 100xs better than Edward and Bella could EVER be. Stelena forever.

Stefan did deserve a better ending than what he got Stefan is my favorite character on the show and he was overshadowed by Damon even though Damon’s character was repetitive
