Hello, and welcome to my channel! I'm a outdoor enthusiast. The type of videos you'll see here are related to: outdoor item reviews/tests, slingshots/slingbows, survival, hunting, fishing, trapping, pcp airguns, and with other self-reliance skills and info mixed in!
Please be understanding of the fact that I do not have any expensive cameras or crew to film me. The only equipment I film with are my phone and a GoPro Hero 9 Black for all of the filming, editing and uploading of videos. I apologize for camera adjustments, poor angles, and waiting for me to walk back and forth. I will do minimal editing so you all can know that this is how it went down and that I am hiding nothing with trickery!
I hope you're able to learn something or find the answers to the questions you had on something. If not feel free to ask questions. I can always do a part 2 video going into more detail.

Axiom Champ is one of my favorite frames!
Thank you for the video. But can you give me some tips for shooting over 20m? I realized that I need to change reference point to a lower position at the upper fork. But is there a way to always aim at the top corner of the fork? The point is while hunting I can not exactly tell that the target is 20m away or 25m away.
Faster shooting bands will have the ammo on a flatter trajectory so you can use the same aimpoint but you do need to hold over the target most of the time for distance shooting to allow for the ammo drop. Practice at different distances helps a lot.

Just the video I was looking for. purchased similar cards, wanted to if the hooks would work as well as the grim workshop cards. My only issue with the ones I got from Amazon are they appear to be larger cards and don’t fit in an altoids tin or a wallet.
These cats were from wish and are slightly thicker but worked well!

Simple shot black is made in china
Almost all of slingshot latex is made in China. I believe there is one factory in India as well. You can't buy American Made slingshot latex because none is made here in the USA.

Yes,but it is also not slingshot latex. TBG is made for resistance and not a fast retraction rate like slingshot latex.

Purchased the scout x not long ago as my first slingshot, now I'm looking for something smaller so the lt2 might be what I'm looking for. I also like how the tl blade patina came out. I own 2 lt wright knives and love them.
The Scout LT2 is like a scaled down Scout X. It is a great frame imo. Thanks, LT Wright have some of the best blades in the business. Some of the coolest people too!

Sorry, I can't remember, it didn't last long though, I would advise against that one.
The Sights Are Cool But It's Hitting The Bands Whenever I Shot It, So I Decided To Just Remove It, Because My Bands Broken After A Few Shots Near The Sights.
The sights are above the band attachment so the sights should never come into contact with your bands. More than likely you experienced what is called a fork hit. If the latex is between the ball and the slingshot frame, it can be pinched and cut by this impact. A key sign is holes in the latex.

It will depend on which eye is dominant. You want to draw to the dominant eye otherwise you will be of target. You can hold the slingshot in either hand.

What band would you use for 8mm and 3/8 steel?
You will more than likely need two different bands due to the weight difference in the ammo. I like a taper of 15mm-20mm. For the 3/8" I use .7mm thick latex. For the 5/16" or 8mm ammo I use .6mm or .5mm depending on the season.

With the supplied bands, they are made to be shot with the fuzzy grey side in toward the ammo but you can shoot them with the black smooth side in instead. The risk that way is the tag ends of the latex where they are tied to the pouch can hit the ammo which can result in accuracy interference.

It's too difficult for hunting to use the tripod. I'm not a fan of the Saunders Pro X. I do not like the fork tips.

It would just depend on the target...
Which ammo cay make pigeons fall with body short...? So that It cannot fly away and get injured...as sometimes we can not accurately aim wings and head neck..

Ty for sharing your knowledge! U taught me a lot! I got a question can u help me? Having a draw length of 73 cm and 18 cm of active band length (4,5 elongation factor) not counting 2,5 cm for frame and pouch tie, is a 170 mm taper useless (too short) for me?
For a 4.5x's elongation it would be too short but it would be closer to a 5x's elongation which would be fine.

With them adjustable sights if you want to shoot farther do you have to extend the sight out farther or push it in closer to the frame when shooting farther distances.
You will need to lower the sight to account for the ammo's drop over distance.
Love the magnet for the can idea.

Hey, I'm fairly new to slingshot & I've just got uni phox I have small hands long fingers. I cannot get a full pinky in the hole (if that makes sense) it feels odd in my hand as thoughi want to twist the handle it feels a little strange as though there's not enough handle length. I'm going to persevere with it but could you recommend a Wasp frame for next time. 👍 PS im shooting ott with finger & thumb brace .
Sorry, it's the only Wasp frame I have. The shipping is just so high to get them here in the USA.

I use a 12mm-15mm for the 5/16".

It is a ProChrono chronograph.
What size is that ball bearing?
They use a 3/8" bearing.
I know this is an old video but just maybe you can answer a question for a month old newbie slingshot shooter, what is the inner diameter of the occularis holes?
The Ocularis Plug holes in the frame are 19mm.
