here is a couple of things to try. First is the angle of the blower. Try holding it more slightly slanted but mostly straight up and down. As your first blow it will make the ink spread out. after the first blow then you can move it more slanted sideways. Second try holding the end of the blower right above it and not too much behind it. This will also make it spread out more then you can angle the nozzle more slanted to make the ink move. Keep on eye out. I am going to do a very short video on this. I have gotten a couple of questions about it.

Paint like you don't care. And when People look at your painting they do not know what it should have been they just know what you present them in your painting. They will assume that what you did is what it was suppose to be. Try pulling the spatula toward you and try pushing it away from you. One way may be easier than the other. Have fun with it.

They are alcohol ink markers. They play well with the liquid alcohol ink. Sharpies are alcohol ink markets also. They are a game changers at times.

I was thinking the same thing, like an angle fish or betta.

I am using Kirkland Glossy Photo paper from Costco. Sadly they are not making it anymore so I am on the hunt for a new brand. I use the back of the paper because it is the plastic side. The shiny side is meant to pull in ink so it will not travel at all. When I find a new brand of paper I will put a video up for it. Have fun with these.

Here is what I do. I use the cello bags for each card. I sell them individually but I do offer bundles. I sell them both ways. Bundles are more popular than singles. My bundles are about a dollar a card less than the single card. I offer a 1-5 or 10 card bundle. Play around with what will sell better. Watch the combos people pick out too. There are no rhyme or reason to it sometimes. So I wont preselect the bundle. I also package mine with the envelope inside the card so they can see the front and the back ( my stamp is on the back) of the card. They can see it is hand painted because of the stamp. The Tim Holtz Blowing tool? I use both and love both. They produce two different type of looks. if I am using Blanco with Ink it is always the Blowing tool. The Airbrush is a little more controllable with alcohol and alcohol ink not so much with Blanco. I can get small long petals with the airbrush. But Both are fun to use. This would be a good video to compare the two.
