American!? Jesus, she didn't even know that Georgy Lozanov's BULGARIAN. That says everything about her knowledge on Sugestopedya/Sugestologya.
This is a great game to fill a final 10mins of a lesson, however in my case, being in a Thai school, some of the children say the word in Thai, even thou i insist 100x to say the word in English. All in all a good game Jackie.
People has to eat both both

Find out why I think games are so important in language-learning classrooms. Leave a comment and let me know your #1 ESL/EFL game.
@@JackieBolen my #1 game is: students stand in a circle. A student says for example: I like/ love/ want/ have a banana; and the next st repeats what the previous st said and adds another fruit. My students always love that game. And since they kept on asking to play the same game, I started to play it to revise furniture, places, etc

Broke aint slang ...its proper english
It depends how you use it!
I'll definitely check out your book. I love to either start or finish with a game. It is really memorable
I love to use a review game in almost every class...the memorable thing, as you mentioned :)
Broke is when you woke :)
Yeah!
The all-important question! Hot dog vs hamburger at that next big summer BBQ.
Where did this slang originate from though? More formally bail is used to define, "the temporary release of an accused person awaiting trial." How did we go from that to: "This party is lame. Let's bail."
That's a good question that I don't know the answer to!
Clock
Yes!
Clock
no one could have explained it better than you. I'm a new TEFL learner and I appreciate your video so much and if you don't mind, could I ask for your Email? Thank you in advance
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, Jackie!

Hello there, Could you help me make out the subtle difference between demonstrating and modelling ? Thank you
I'm not that knowledgable about this, but isn't modelling more observe/imitate, while demonstrate is explicitly showing/explaining something.
@@JackieBolen i am not really sure. I think demonstrating is when you ask a student (high-achiever) to answer a sample question before the class is engaged. You could also demonstrate with the high-achiever depending on the activity. But, what s modelling?
