Better to do it on the tray IMMEDIATELY beside you. The second error is in injecting gel into the urethra, put the gel on the catheter itself and it was lubricate it's insertion. a woman's uethera is 1-2 inches long. at this point you're thinking this guy is mean, but whats worse the burn from the anesthetic gel (which hurts at first) or the feeling of a lubricated catheter quickly inserted? also, 2 sets of steriles gloves is a massive waste. given what i've just described this video needs a massive refresh

im a phlebtomy student but going into outpatient so I won't be doing blood cultures but I'm still fascinated! Here in the states only in patient really does blood cultures because nobody sick enough to need one would be walking into a clinic.
