This man needs to learn from a male mentor. He needs to understand how to receive help from a woman. he is too independent and may weary her in the marriage. the worst thing is he is still not listening to her even on TV, he keeps giving excuses and with that he isnt ready to change. he needs help. usually women in this kind of relationship become closer to their children and tend to enjoy staying away from their men. I really do hope he finds help

This man is a TYPICAL URHOBO MAN!!! Its why an an urhobo babe i NEVER wanted to marry an Urhobo man. The woman seem to be the one stabilizing the home, and with the understanding of marriage. It's shocking to know that he even agreed to come on this show and allow their home to be opened up to the society. This was painful to watch. Sincere prayers going up for him. The man is a sikent killer. A bad communicator and he is NOT focused on Loving his wife. He can't seem to get out of his own ways to compromise and meet his wife Half way. Just LOVE THIS WOMAN NAH!!!!! what is hard about it? She will give you the world and do the most for you. She is crying for affection. SHOW that you care. Once she logs out emotionally, it will be harder to make a U turn though its possible. That she can handle a lot doesnt mean she has to go through a lot.

Omo! I'm not married, but I'm triggered and this is because he is mirroring my personality about being a lone wolf,but a bit extreme version. I love the fact that she is expressive I love the strength it took to have this conversation. I can now see the strain, honestly I understand him and her... To be honest five years is still short to see the blend that marriage brings , they are doing well for the age of the marriage,

This kinda leaves a bad taste in the mouth, I see some level of Ego, Pride and abit of selfishness on the Husbands side, its fine to have different personalities, however being able to meet in the middle and make sacrifices for each other is the only way to make a marriage work. The marriage feels too one sided and with time the party that makes all the sacrifices would run out. Sacrifice, learning and unlearning is very important to make a union work.

Half way through and we need a therapist/counsellor

Did they not date for a while before they married? It just seems as if she didn't know him at all before they married. Didn't they talk about things and their expectations during their courtship? It's like they just met each other, rushed into marriage and now they are stuck with each other because from what I am hearing this man is not willing to change or even take accountability. He has an excuse for all her genuine concerns and now she expects him to change for her. The woman too is the type that wants what she wants, when she wants it whilst he is a very layed back person that wants to take his time. What they need is marriage therapy. This one no be church pastor counselling issue but rather a professional marriage therapist.

I hardly comment on Social media platforms. But i think this couple needs proper marriage counselling, especially the man. He doesn't really understand what marriage is all about, he is still full of himself, so self centered.
