In outdoor lacrosse the goalies have alot less equipment. But the field is alot bigger and there are almost twice as many players on the field. It's alot harder to get a good shot on goal. In indoor or box lacrosse the shooters would have a field day if the goalies didn't have that many pads. Sorry for all the comments. Not many lacrosse reactions on CZcams and I love the sport.
