"Twenty-eight days, six hours, forty-two minutes, twelve seconds."
Bunnymen alchemy. It shows how critical Les and Pete were to the vibe.
I tend to believe that the offline life we all got in 80's was way better than this fragmented present days we live ( we actually live? )
Top track.
b-side of 'silver' not 'seven seas'.
ROCK STOCK..
Just when you think you she's yours ..... ☮️🔥🚣🚣🚣🌠
There when I need it, I guess technology is not all bad.
Pete's drumming is horrible.... faster, slower, faster again.... not even matching the song.
Honestly, its a mediocre audition tape. Drumming very forced, mediocre. Even George's guitar is mediocre at best. It basically shows George knew the chords and struggled with the solo. Bad choice of song-- they later did it better. I'd pass.
In retrospect many people are baffled that the Beatles were rejected by Decca, but listening to this tape I can't help but agree with your sentiment. They sounded like a really rudimentary band here. Just one of thousands of bands among the Liverpool beat scene
This would fit perfectly on a beach in 1960's.
Iam a lonely headless dancing horse
Liverpool’s finest 👍🏻🙏🏻❤️😺
I am going to see these legends tonight in Chicago!!
My attempt at figuring out the lyrics: You know exactly what is good for you Bottle love and no dictionary Shoving your face into anyone Skating around the subject With your skin undone Rubbing your fingers into anyone Pumping your stomach with the government Filling the gap between gap and want Did you even want a part of the heavy load? Cancel all his dreams in search of a lighter load Did you hear the one about the "nether-road?" Cancelled all his dreams and said, "I'm half below" (So far) So far, so good, but what′s good for me? If not, fuck them, then when would I be? Mating with the subject Is your skin undone? Rubbing your fingers into anyone 2:37 ??? ??? ??? ??? You know just exactly what's good for you Bottle love and no dictionary Tell me what you're thinking is good for me Bottle love and no dictionary Skating around the subject Is my skin undone? Mating with the subject Subject, anyone?

THIS is the version
This wasn’t a demo. This is from the original version of Porcupine that they recorded in spring ‘82 that was rejected by Warner Brothers for being “too uncommercial”.
Han pasado 40 años y sigue siendo insuperable
This song was revealed to me on a cassette compilation [that I purchased at either a Disc Jockey (more likely) or Camelot record store] called _Revenge_of_the_Killer_B's_. Formative find for me!
