So is it worthy to get back to work?
It depends what you are trying to achieve, for me it was worth it because we are trying to buy a house and on paper it looks better if both parents work. Plus we can save a little bit more each month than if I was a stay at home mum. In future I would also like more children so I will be able to get maternity pay again instead of not having an income ☺️

When you get married both people should be giving each other 100% to support them, so if he's working all day, then you cleaning, looking after the kids and keeping the house is normal if you aren't working. It should be the same if the roles are reversed. If you both work, then you trade off parts to one another to balance it. Simple as that.
