I cannot believe the poor workmanship that you have brought to our attention. I can't see spending that kind of money when my new Mazda CX-5 has so much better workmanship. I would consider a Tesla, but have to question it after watching your video. Thank you for sharing!

Agreed, except that I experience a booming noise in my ears whenever I drive it. The noise gives me headache. Nobody else in my family experiences it. I take it as my fault 🤦🏻♂️

I saw your delivery day video. I picked up my car March 28th. After I saw this video I double checked my insurance rate for my Tesla. My insurance cost is almost half of what you are paying. I haven't used a super charge yet. I charge over night at home. So far so good. The main thing I don't like is that Tesla lowered the price of the car after I bought my car.

I would encourage you to shop around for insurance. As I'm sure you know there are many variables that go into insurance rates. Make sure your coverage amounts are the same. That's a significant policy increase.
Cost insurance is also depending where do you live
Hey there. I have had a Tesla since 2019. Only service I have paid for is tire rotation, cabin air filter change and new tires which you don’t need to go through Tesla for (at least in SoCal). Agree that insurance can be higher (my premium actually went down after I traded in Lexus). Replacement of my 12V battery and fog light and repositioning of ultrasonic sensor (I knocked it out of place) were all covered under warranty. That being said, savings on gas with electricity is only big if you can charge at home/work in expensively. It’s the convenience of charging overnight and continual over the air update upgrades that make Teslas great. Plus they’re kind of fun to drive 😊

I know your car is calibrated by now, but if you notice the top left of the screen, there is a wheel that is not complete full circle yet, that is calibration status

No, I think that would be next year 2024. I still have to claim on my tax return next year. And it is non refundable credit, which mean if don't have tax liabilities then I can't claim. thanks for stop by.

When did you place your order and what state are you located in. I ordered the same car on Jan 23 with the white interior. My delivery window is Apr 10 - May 8.
I ordered around same time as your, and also my delivery date had changed more than few times. The last time it was Apr 16 -May 20. For some reason, they told me it's ready for pickup on 23rd. hope your will change to the sooner. thanks
Wow! That was a great experience. I picked up mine this Tuesday. I had to locate my vehicle and then wait in the office until someone was available. Once I signed the final forms on my phone I received the black key cards. That was it. I had to figure everything out by myself.
I had to request for that in order for them to walk through with me. I know it's crazy experience. It's almost like buying hot wheel car from venting machine LOL thanks
I had watched plenty of CZcams videos, so I was able to get going on my own. I found a few problems. I’m scheduled for service today. I am really enjoying the car. I learn how to do something new with the car everyday.❤

If you are buying solely because of the tax credit, you probably can’t afford the car and shouldn’t buy it! There is no guarantee you will get the full $7500 credit anyway, depending on your tax situation. If you knw about Tesla, delivery dates are not guaranteed, just and estimate and its a know fact they get changed a lot before delivery.

Definitely. Tesla had A LOT of cars in existing inventory and when the discount qualified most of the Tesla M3s and MYs for the federal tax credit, that's when we saw their inventory get completely wiped out which means hundreds of cars were bought in the first 2 weeks or so. And not to mention they have been getting bombarded with custom orders so cars have to be built and transported. Edit: I ordered mine on 1/13 and finally got to pick it up about 2 weeks ago. That kinda puts it into perspective esp if you're not getting matched with a car in existing inventory.
Same thing happened to me! I ordered a Model Y during the first week of February, now the delivery could come as late as May 31. I am looking for the longest battery range, so don't want the Performance model. The tax credit was also an incentive for me. For those who aren't fully aware, delays and poor communication are pretty synonymous with Tesla. In the last few years, I've heard of people who waited several months or even a full year to finally get the Tesla they ordered. Also just pointing this out but you ordered the first week of Feb whereas the massive discount happened on 1/13 so you were kinda 3 weeks late and there are probably thousands (or more) of orders that were placed before you (OD isn't the only factor in getting the car though). Some people who ordered around 1/20 still haven't even gotten their cars yet either.
