If only Ariadna laughed it off, and helped Paulina crowned Pia. She would've been the most celebrated and beloved runner-up at the pageant, ever. She would have guaranteed life time of appearances and endorsements in the Philippines as they embrace foreign queens more than the queens' home country. But I can understand it is hard to think fast on your feet when all your dreams supposedly came true were snatched away in a couple of minutes. And her subsequent behavior and attitude afterwards.....SMH

We can all feel sad for both but Miss Columbia is the most famous 1st runner up. Many remember Ariadna. She was quite graceful but not perfect. She even remembered to walk back so the ribbon sash could be put on Miss Philippines. Miss Columbia also waited and earlier stooped down to have her crown removed. The only part that could have been better is if she hugged Miss Philippines or at least approached her. She could have raised Miss Philippines hands to demonstrate it was an honest mistake. If she stayed around Ma Philippines initially then the other contestants could have hugged both but unfortunately we all saw some of the tension and nastiness some people have. I believe Miss Germany was one of the worst. She even suggested Miss Columbia should have won.

Miss colombia is really confuse on that moment.we dont have to blame her.if she dont know what to do on that moment.

Filipinos are so insensitive regarding Ariadna. No, Pia didn't lose her moment, she still had a whole year going as Miss Universe, she was crowned on stage, she was given all the rights a Miss Universe deserves. Ariadna was humiliated on stage, something I would never wish to my biggest enemy, and even though it's all about "Pia, poor Pia, she missed her moment, Pia blabla..." Could you just be a little bit more empathetic and give a little respect to Ariadna? She was the one who really LOST the night, who was humiliated, who will never overcome that moment. Congratulations to Pia though, she deserved it! She's great, not her fans.
