Да машиностроение тяжелый труд хорошо что роботов придумали работал на автомобильном заводе целый день бегаешь нагибаешься потом два дня отсыпаться и когда я вижу как какой то идиот бьет машину просто так которую сделали тяжелым трудом тысячи человек я б его на каторгу лет на десять отправил

These were the last and closest thing to a hand made car that the everyday driver could actually aspire to own.. I cherish mine even though it's a bit of a clunker now after being my daily driver for nearly 10 years and 20+ years of ownership.

I'm sure there were areas of the assembly where the person doing it thought "I'd hate to be the one who has to replace this part."

I still drive a 1985 900T and spent some great times with family in Europe in the 1970s and 1980s... miss those days. Glad I still have a classic SAAB to drive.

It almost looks like they work at Rolls Royce. Now I know why saabs were so expensive.

This is very nice to watch and makes you realise what quality cars are all about. Much better car than the Cavalier/Vectra in drag that replaced it. General Motors is an awful company and I have no idea why anyone buys their awful products.

Yeah, they could've let them do their thing and reaped the profits. The old 900 just "feels" like a well built automobile (almost indestructible). You can't replicate the feeling, it's either there or it's not. I will be adding an '86 sedan to my collection after a four year hiatus (grieving period?) from the death of my 87 sedan.

Thanks! I think so too. However, I originaly edited this video to the unreleased song 'Atom Heart' by the swedish synth band Covenant. I thought that song fit the video even better... (You can find that song here on CZcams).

It's amazing how slow paced the line is compared to other companies. Just goes to show that Saab wasn't trying to make a quick buck, they were making a real CAR.

I live in California and I used to own a Saab 1989 9000 turbo shift stick I really loved this car, 4 cyl turbo was good enough to race any BMW or 300 ZX I could be noticed watever I go sniff sniff!!!

Why why saab shutted down?????? it hurts me a lott. Though i have no car, but i have some sense about cars or the automobile industries and i really like the features and designs of saab cars i do really like as their first priority is safety and driving comfort... i really like to see them back in industry as soon as possible,,,,

I love the music and graphics. Im a true Saab-Head. Owned a 77' and 69' 99 series and GLE 900. I was only 21 at the time and couldnt afford the repairs. Well at 42 im here regaining that old feeling! I just cop'd a 90' 900S in great shape (body wise). I had to put 2,300 into the car, but man is it worth it to drive a legend. I'm going to buy a 87' Turbo and be done guys. When the 900 Classic is taking care of, its like no other ride out there. To drive it is to be enthused!

Beautiful car. I had always wanted one when I was little. Now older, I have one and love it dearly. Its such a joy to drive. Thanks for the video. It really shows how much painstaking effort SAAB put into each one of their cars.

@bonifaciomusso This is Aprés un Rêve by Gabriel Fauré. What rendition this is though is beyond me (does anyone know?). This one seems to be played slower than normal but it sounds wonderful.

My Saab is a 9-3 LPT year 2000, the LAST year of any Saabs to bear the Saab-Scania badge and I will love this car till death. Currently at 126,500 miles and soldiers on ! LONG LIVE SAAB-SPYKER !
