I love the ambient series. I have the ambient in the zip jacket without hood and I have the ambient 1/2 zip pull over hoody.

Love these Sitka reviews. For what it's worth, I just got the original Ambient jacket for $149 on closeout... so you can get great deals on Sitka, you just have to be patient and wait a season or two.

2 layers under the Midi pants?? Especially a heavyweight layer? I’d be absolutely soaked walking 50 yds lol those things are insanely warm and don’t vent.

Me personally i liked the duck oven at first but once i started layering under it and it got hard to shoulder the gun and it was bulkier in bad places.

Is the Stratus pant the best option for Nov-Dec I am near Atlanta.

Has anybody tried out the Grindstone Work pants yet?

I was able to put my hands on both, the heavy weight and fanatic. They both seemed to almost be identical except, as you noted, the kangaroo pocket on the fanatic. I went with the heavy weight because I was able to get it in the Subalpine Optifade color. If I could get the fanatic in that color, I may have went that route but the heavy weight works perfect for a chilly October morning in the tree stand in Ohio. You jus cant go wrong with Sitka gear

I’ve got an older rangefinder and it’s honestly not a great fit. Doesn’t fit down in the pouch very good. Super tight and the flap doesn’t cover it all the way. Not a huge deal but something I’d thought would share

Is the 200 something that you can wear in to the stand or something ya pack in and put on at the tree? Also what would be the warmest temp that you would be wearing the 200? I am wanting to use it as a layer for my stratus. Love my fanatic but it is HEAVY and restricts movement a little.

What are your thoughts compared to a Celsius Midi? My midi is about wore out and I was thinking about getting the 200 to replace it.
