    What exhaust is this exactly? Is it the Corsa Sport exhaust?

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 5 měsíci

      It's a Corsa Sport 21166BLK with one of their 10.75" body packed resonators (PKM2000, PKM2002, PKM2003) added to the system behind the muffler.

      @@SALEEN961thanks for the response! So the resonator you installed between the muffler and the rear axle? Did you have the sport without the resonator first or no?

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 5 měsíci

      @@BoostKingMatt The Corsa system moves the muffler to where the factory resonator is located, so I had no resonator with the Corsa system until I added one. The resonator I added sits where the factory muffler did right before where the exhaust turns up to clear the rear axle. www.f150gen14.com/forum/attachments/20231031_120130-jpg.95696/ www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/exhaust-system-testing-upgrading-discussion-ecoboost-3-5l.19335/

      @@SALEEN961 thanks man! Was the Corsa sport too loud for you without the resonator?

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 5 měsíci

      @@BoostKingMatt It was louder without the resonator, but nothing too crazy, my main reason for adding it was drone. Before adding the resonator, I would get drone that caused a very noticeable vibration throughout the interior of my truck under certain conditions. After adding the resonator, I don't get any unwanted vibrations or drone, but I'm still seeing a very noticeable decrease in backpressure.

    cant see all of your links, did you do the 2-3 db or the 6-8 db resonator? and did you end up getting slip on or weld on version?

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 6 měsíci

      I used the 6-8 db 3.0" resonator. I ordered the slip-on because it was the only one in stock at the time, but I trimmed the ends down and welded it in.

      @@SALEEN961 thanks, sounds great, watched the fly by video, didn't sound like you were completely into the throttle but it didn't get raspy at the top end like most do.

    Does it add any drone at hyway speeds

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 7 měsíci

      It can add a little drone at some speeds, but it's minor enough that most people wouldn't be bothered by it.

    How is this compared to just the resonator delete you previously had?

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 10 měsíci

      The Corsa setup is a little louder and has a deeper tone but they sound similar. The big difference is the exhaust back pressure. Measuring a few inches back from the resonator flange, I had 3.5-4.0psi of back pressure with the stock muffler and tailpipe during a sustained WOT pull. With this Corsa setup, all of my back pressure readings were below 0.5psi

      @@SALEEN961isn’t back pressure ther for a reason?? I though that helps with low end power??

    • @SALEEN961
      @SALEEN961 Před 10 měsíci

      @@joeyjordan1209 You always want as little back pressure as possible, but you don't want to go with an exhaust pipe so large that it significantly impacts exhaust scavenging while reducing back pressure. In my case the pipe size is basically the same as stock, but the Corsa muffler and resonator are much less restrictive than the stock ones on my truck.

    Yeah the car was built back in the 80's when you weren't allowed to say how fast cars really went. Unlike now when they put 150mph gauges in minivans with a top speed of 80mph, lol.

    Pacesetter doesn't list it as fitting and as far as I know it doesn't, your best bet would be to go to a local muffler shop and have them weld up something for you in 2.25" or maybe 2.5" pipe if you don't mind losing some low-rpm power, it should cost between $200 and $300, so it's about the same price as a catback kit.

    No, it's also been ported and polished, it has an intake, a MSD Blaster 2 Coil, Taylor plug wires, and in a couple months I'm having a camshaft custom ground to my specs.
