While working on my project it occurred to me that this was the very sound I hear when I’m staying at the shore and taking walks along the beach on early mornings, before everyone sets up, before the kids and lifeguards and the blankets fills of day trippers and weeklies arrive, when it’s just surf tumbling in, the sun barely peeking through what might be a brilliantly sunny day, or one filled with clouds scudding across the sky - it’s really amazing, how calming, how perfect, captures exactly as it sounds!
