I can't tell that they changed anything. Lots and lots of colors but you can't scroll through them, can't even enlarge the browser window. I suppose if you happen to know the name of the color you want, you can search for it by name? This is a FAIL. Why not a matrix of colors?

What happened to having new parameters in the order I want ?

Hi, I'm trying to do something similar with an electrical GPO fixture family. I want to have 1 parent family which consists of various nested families of double GPO, Single GPO, etc and they are controlled via instance based visibility parameters. The issue I'm having when scheduling this family is that the schedule is also reporting the parent family so it is double counting. How do I eliminate the parent family from scheduling and only allowing the nested families to schedule? I switched on the "shared parameter" in each of the nested families but turned it off in the parent family and it still won't work. I noticed when you created your schedule, your parent "ADA WC" family did not schedule. Would you mind sharing how you did that?

Friend, does the newer Revit 2025 dark all the parts of the software or are still white parts as 2024?

Have you figured out how to change the colors back to default? I let another user sit at my desk for 5 minutes, he changed the canvas color. And now I can't get it back to default dark mode.

Revit, as a modeling tool for custom 3D objects (couch, chair, other entourage), is in a stone age. While it is possible to model intricate 3D objects in a free software, even web-based ones, like OnShape, Revit didn't change it's approach since V.1: extrusion, blend, revolve, sweep, sweep blend... that's all Revit got? - sad, borderline pathetic. Am I missing something?

I made this with void sweep, to make an array of openings in a panel instead of louvres. the void isnt cutting the panel(extrusion). can anyone tell me why?

Thanks for this tutorial! Do you know how to set a centralized origin in a generic model adaptative family? When opening the generic model adaptative family in a model the family doesn't rotate around the axis defined by the origin planes.

@2:29. I did not see the dim in parameters options to map the profile width and depth. what am missing? I did add the parameters in the profile family.

how do you even get to that initial setup? I added dim with parameters to them but I can't change them unless if I click on my lines to make sure they are working. would that be the same thing?
