is this streaming straight from the DJI or are you using the DJI as a webcam?

Thanks for the excellent and useful comparison. I think a lot of people consider one or the other of these two. I like the more diffused repeats of the Galaxy. Reminds me of my Maxon AD999, which has a similar effect. I bought the Boss RE-202 before the Galaxy came out, but having heard the Galaxy spoiled it for me. Will have to sell the Boss and look for a Galaxy.

So if the OD/DS section is harsh, would it be better to get crunch/distortion from the pre amp section?

Jackpot! I bought these mics and thought the sounds was decent, better than what i had, but wasnt blown away. A top tip i have is that i use an google browser app called "Distill web monitor" which refreshes the DJI site each day for an update on that page. So i get notified when they push out an update on the mic, as i dont think its too well publicised when a new version comes out.

Why are you saying you picked a similar cabinet on both? These are two completely different cabs and speakers. The cabinet you're using on the OX is a Fender 2x12 with Jensen C12Ns but you're using a Vox 2x12 with Celestion Blues in the HX Stomp. IE apples and oranges. You should have used the Helix cab called 2x12 Double C12N to make it a fair comparison for Fender sounds, like the video title suggests.

great find! One only has to select Studio One in 360 for DAW 3. After watching your video and then trying it out I saw that in Resolve Preferences MIDI port 9 has already been mapped to MCU by me some time earlier, obviously in a failed attempt to link 360 to Resolve. Now it works thanks to the Studio One protocol. I have the UF1 as a single device, and seeing the SSL meter working in any Resolve mode is an advantage. Four letter names and bi-directional fader control is also useful. Seeing this running well we might even expect or hope for a full integration of 360 with Resolve in the future, but it is already quite good with the Studio One protocol.

Ox stomp is not IR, OX Stomp is Dinamic speaker emulator . You cant get more better dinamic tone from OX .

These Iridium into Ox Stomp videos have been very helpful in making my decision. Now I also have an Ox stomp being fed from the Punch setting of the Iridium and definitely prefer it over the York Audio IRs on Iridium! Thanks.

They sound great. Having a a real deal is very overrated when you factor in the premium.

Interesting comparison video, thanks! I wonder if this is just EQ, or if there really are major differences in compression and dynamics, and if so, if those differences would be more like the hypothetical real cab selected in the OX Stomp. It's hard to find out what the baseline sound characteristic is of a rig that's not yours, and even with a real rig, you just have to put it into a different space or turn your head to make it sound different. I'm just trying to figure out if one should get an IR loader or something with dynamic modelling like the OX thing nowadays.

the problem is hitting the dangerous convertor twice.. once while recording and another mixing. It's too hot it my experience. I have dbox+ and Lt with apogee symphony and I get better results recording straight into apogee then using dangerous convertors for mixing, and if I do it the other way it seems too hot to me, like signal is pushed too much.. maybe I could turn the trim knobs down the first time, but idk. I like having all the different tracks to be able to manipulate separately too, then combine with symphony, but maybe just me
