Very pretty planner. Here in the States, our week begins with Sunday. I bought last year's planner on clearance which I plan to use for Dolly art journaling. Thought it might be easier to use a spiral bound book instead of a composition notebook. Have a hash tag now, since Possum Patty of Pencil-vania has joined me making my version of Teesha Moore's art dolls #djrpaperdollart I've love to have you join us if you have time to create one. smile!

Love that pink choose joy page in your journal! Did you know there is a #compositionnotebook hashtag where you can go see what others are doing in their composition notebooks? I also like your zetti doll with the top hat and the girl with all the words on her head. I feel like that sometimes when I have too much to do and don't know where to start first. Love this!! Cant wait to travel again. Covid put our big london trip to visit diplomatic friends..free accommodation.. on hold. As our country nears 90 percent vaccination the government will make things easier. You just cant get back in without going to a very limited quarantine hotel at the moment..its like a lottery getting a place!

Great idea, love the how you've decorated each page with washi, photos and stickers. As I'm not going on holiday this year, I could do something similar if I have any days out planned

Is your graveyard documented on Findagrave? I'm a member of Findagrave. Your journal is pretty and bright. My two favorite seasons of the year are spring and fall, cause I can't stand the extreme's in temperature. If it was 72 degrees F. (22.22 C.) all year round, I'd be happy as a peach! smile!

What would you say was your style? My favorite artist is Mary Engelbreit (I have a playlist) and I like the retro stuff from the 30s, 40s, 50s.

Haven't seen these too much over here. I think it was a instant fad, came and went. I thought about trying this technique with some tempera powdered paint that I purchased on clearance awhile back to see what kind of effects I could get with it.

My girlfriend and I have discussed the type of videos we like. She and I aren't real fond of hours long recorded live streams. It's one thing if you were joining in for a craft night with the girls, but it's like missing out on the party and you are consuming the left overs. My friend also doesn't like extremely chatty videos where people wave their hands about and don't do anything -- like get to the point, she said. smile! During lockdown though, we did video chat together while we crafted -- she at her house and I at mine, but it was a private party between the two of us and it wasn't recorded. We propped up our phones and gabbed to our hearts content. She and I actually got stuff done too! I was curious to know if you ever thought about using a mister bottle of water to wet your paper and watercolors? Artist trading cards are 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches or 6.35 cm x 8.85 cm according to the inches to centimeters internet conversion calculator that I have on my computer. Rub a bar of soap or some candlewax over that squeaky thing! It's painful to the ears. smile! Enjoyed watching you doodle. You did great!

ochre = o (long o) ker. The "ch" has a k sound. I make a mess too, right up to my elbows. I'm like a paint magnet. That's why I like the gelli-plate, cause it controls the area of paint a little better and the paint doesn't spread out as much. smile!

I've seen people take a bit of clear adhesive tape and stick it to the white backing sheet of the serviette to pull the layers apart. I love those teacups. So cute! Have you used tea bag envelopes to craft with? I've used them as little pockets, but at the moment I have them as a color collection in my positivity journal. Didn't know until a couple of years ago that people actually collected them. I also save the tea tags. I run to the herbal teas now since my doctor took me off caffeine, so I'm now exploring all the different flavors of those. My current favorites are thyme, hyssop and blueberry.

I have a mushroom made from clay garden pots that looks very similar to yours. I have a photo of it in one of my positivity journal videos. It's a Mary Engelbreit design. What kind of theatre?

Have you made a master board of words? I collect words and lettering from packaging and just created my first black and white word sheet using words cut out from here and there. Love the idea that I can use the same over and over.

I didn't know anybody else liked a black and white face too. Makes it stand out/pop from the background, I think. I've been really interested in dolls and paper dolls (takes up less room than a physical doll collection) for a long time, but just started making my own with a twist. Instead of cutting from magazines, my faces are my face using a photo booth app, food package labels and arms and legs from a woman's clothing catalog. I like your idea of drawing in the legs too. Other than getting a saying from other people, where do you find your sayings/quotes, for I've been on the hunt for some?
